Time to pay attention to Mr. Edmond.

Won the WR MVP at the All American Combine.

Has excelled at every combine/camp he's attended. Was invited back to the Rivals Combine after the regional camp.

Was an FBU/Adidas All American after his FR year.

Also a member of Boom 7v7.

Didn't have much stats on O while at Warren Central as they mostly run the ball and Joseph Walker (E. Mich signee) got most of the attention but he did have 5 Int's in the MIC.

Transferring to NorthWood HS in Nappanee which is @30 min from ND. NorthWood will now have two 3* WR's as '24 Ni'Tareon Tuggle is already there. Both have visited ND already.

Edmond is expected back on campus soon.

He’s looking to “Embrace the Pace”. But seriously, I’ve heard that he is Tuggle’s cousin, hence why he’d transfer from Indy to Amish country.

I just heard this last night at a basketball game. I assumed it was family. Nitro (Tuggle) himself is one hell of an athlete. He’s a kid that starts off at a non-P5 and then transfers into a P5 after a year or two. He’s got high ceiling athleticism.

These scams are funny. They stakeout a coin and slowly buy up tokens and while newbies pump it on a signal they dump. Then the newbies are left with tokens that are worthless. Crypto is an interesting market to test people and their reactions. Greed is a powerful motivator.

Yeah to think Nitro might be the 2nd best WR on a team playing against northern Indiana competition is a scary thought. I think Purdue’s old staff liked him and I thought he might go there but we’ll see now.

That’s big time. He may need his own profile soon.

Poaching Season. Not sure where he's at academically, but he's gotta be on the radar especially when all we've heard in some of the defensive recruiting is that htey are looking for length and if they can run.

- Jo’Ziah Edmond, DB, Nappanee (Ind.) Northwood, Purdue commit: There wasn’t a better looking defensive back in attendance than Edmond, at least when it came to a height/weight/speed standpoint. Edmond is long and can run. He started his prep career off as a wide receiver, but has got more and more burn at defensive back. And while the technique might still be a work in progress, the tools are there for him to emerge as a difference-maker in the secondary.

That’s a really, really good get for them tbh.

Northwood is gonna have the juice this fall with him and now Nitro coming back since IMG didn’t accept his transfer.

I don't know much about Nitro's situation - how didn't IMG accept his transfer? Isn't it barely a school?

Basically looks like with IMGs new owner/sponsor they decided to stop taking one semester xfers. Since Nitro is planning to EE, he fell into that group and they chose not to admit him. I think it’s more financial on their end than it is academic on his end.

I’m not sure how 2 guys of this caliber ended up at Northwood. But as a resident of Nappanee I will be trying to enjoy seeing them play as much as I can this year. I think Northwood just got lucky with a kid like Nitro and then he’s close to Joziah and convinced him to transfer up here from Warren Central for his SR season. Why he left Indy for the NLC when he’s a big recruit I don’t understand. Let’s be honest, the NLC is fine for guys going NAIA or to MAC or even low end BIG 10 schools maybe. Northwood had a kid last year go to Ball St and a RB a few years ago go to William and Mary. But if you’re going to national programs like Georgia and Michigan the NLC is a joke. It makes sense why Nitro was trying to go to IMG as much as I hoped he wouldn’t.
