The conversation is not whether or not we win 8 or more games in a perfect world where Sam Hartman is fully healthy all year.

The conversation is about our base expectation right now, considering all possibilities.

You have to take the potential for injury into account when projecting our season as a whole, and I trust the Vegas oddsmakers a lot more than a bunch of hopium addicts on IE who think there’s basically no way we win 8 or less.

I love our team, think we’re in a good spot right now, but also recognize that last year we performed above expectation and that 8.5 is very fair.

9-4 Drew Pyne season? Absolutely.

Even without conditioning on the Buchner injury (ie using preseason odds and win totals), I’d bet 9 wins is basically right where we were expected.

Hold up! Let's put the goal posts back where they were and compare apples to apples.

How many places had ND O/U at 7.5 or less... a year ago today? I don't care how you snowflakes felt when Buchner got a boo boo and they put in... The Courtship of Eddie's Father.

That's for OMM and #1. The rest of you kids'll just have to google it.

Zaire just doubled down on his not being impressed by KVA. Goolsby said he’d be surprised if he doesn’t start as a TF. Have to say, I’m really rooting for Goolsby here. We are deep at LB.

Even people on the IB board are going in on Zaire for his behavior, comments, & ND trashing rants, & Driskell (or someone there) locked the thread.
You can trash people for no reason over there, like a BK-trashing thread daily out of the blue, & Driskell joins in. But say something truthful, & not over the line at all about Zaire, & it gets shut down.
That’s the problem with Driskell. He has the best content, breakdowns, shows, etc…but his own personal biases & personality ruin it.
Malik is his buddy, and it clouds his mind, saying things like Malik was the best leader at ND, ND would have won the title with Malik healthy, Malik was better then Kizer, etc…
Crazy talk.

Also, with KVA…Driskell called Power an idiot for his ranking of KVA, but not Malik for saying he is a backup?
