Talich can Tackle no doubt about that. Not sure if, at 6-4 215 he isn't a LB eventually.

Yeah I just don’t think a guy with that speed can be a starting safety on a team with championship aspirations.

Maybe we're overreacting to one play?

He didn't look slow today. The missed tackle on Raridon was more concerning than his speed and even that wasn't a big deal.

His 2 stops near the endzone, especially the 1st one were impressive. He clearly lays wood and is a very sound tackler. I like what I've seen from him. Safeties are going to great with Adon, Smith, Talich, Urlacher, etc. A lot to like here. Shuler is going to be crushing dudes this year.

There are infinite plays in football when a fast player almost gets caught on his way into the end zone. It has to do with lots of things including angles, anticipating a hit vs. pursuing, acceleration vs top end speed, not really knowing how fast the other player is, nerves, exhaustion, etc.

It’s not a great way to judge speed, IMO.

He might not be Watts but he is a great special teams guy and it is still a quality player.

Urlacher transferred.
