Would be a big bummer if it plays out that way as he’s a special talent. However, the DL class is still really good and Ford/Burnham/Goabiara, from last cycle, appear so as well.

It’ll be interesting to see how set they are on 5 DL or if Moore was just a BPA. If the list of BPA's is being culled a bit, i'd like to see them get after more DB's. More speed please.

If they are rolling that heavy it’d guess he committed to the OSU staff already

So the question is, who were Driskel’s 6 silent ‘23’s?

Jagusah, Bell, Rico, Gray… Hanafin? And?

he's been very upfront as it has happened

Out of the 6, three have announced - Jagusah, Micah Bell, and Christian Gray.

He confirmed today there are 3 outstanding - my guess on those 3 are Hanafin/Greathouse/Ausberry

I’m having trouble seeing how ND gets to 25 with the remaining guys on the board. 19, plus those 3. Who else is there?

I think it's a good question and one the staff is asking itself right now as well. I think they left a lot of space for BPA's and as those BPA's decide and maybe head elsewhere, we might need to revamp the board a bit.

To answer the question more directly, I don't think as it stands the current board gets to 25. Hanafin, Greathouse, and Ausberry get you to 22. I would imagine that as of now they have spots "saved" for M'Pemba, Freeling, Jason Moore, '23 QB, and Caleb Downs. At this point, I think it's only likely we fill the QB spot which gets you to 23. However, only Moore has "decided". So, theoretically, it still leaves us with 2 open spots and 3 open recruitments.

Some of those could be saved for transfers. It too bad ND continues to make things more difficult for the program by not allowing more undergrads to transfer. Seems like some exceptions could be made.

Still can't believe they didn't bring in at least one WR transfer.

We need to lay the hammer down on OSU. It’s time to take the truck nuts off. Commits will verbal, but that’s not the same as sign. In other words, there’s plenty of time to flip, and we know Freeman won’t cease communications.
Good luck. Those WRs are legit and they are legion.

We better have our devil dogs firing off the edge and making the QB VERY uncomfortable.

Maybe that's what you meant by "hammering" tOSU?

An athlete who projects at WR/DB would be a nice roster fit if none of those guys pan out.

Ohio State is just insane.
A little sus imo given their talent and the ass whooping by Michigan and loss to OR. I wasn’t overly impressed with their Utah game at all. If ND beats them and they go on to lose another to Michigan or someone else, then I really start to question Day given the talent divide. We shall see. I’m rooting for their regression.

Agreed. I think this is a team with elite talent at the skill positions and secondary, but if you can line up and smash them in the mouth it disrupts everything they do and they are beatable. If we can push the LOS into their backfield and open running lanes I could honestly see a double digit win. On the flip side the environment will be off the chain loud as hell and if Buchner comes out shaky or struggles with communication and reads early it could get ugly the other way.

I'm still rather shocked that they chose not to go after a transfer WR as well. Especially after they chose to not take any other '22 WR's before NSD. In retrospect, a rather confusing decision. At the time, when we decided to not take any '22 WR's it seemed like a given, it was due to eventually landing a GT WR or two. Nope, we did neither. But, now I'm completely off-topic, lol.

It will be a great victory.

At one time, there was scuttlebutt about Braylon James reclassifying. Is that still a possibility?
