I don't think Shaw was ever one of the 2-4 D linemen ND supposedly had locked up. I specifically asked about him on 247 after someone here dropped his name and I got no nibbles. The only one that I'm pretty certain about is Dawson from Louisville.

lol........Maybe he thinks he should play more? Maybe he doesn't get along with his position coach? Maybe he doesn't like the environment? Maybe he can get a better NIL deal? I could go on, but I think you will dismiss any reasonable reason that gets mentioned.

There are guys who play on good teams leaving those teams for other good teams all over the place. Look at the guy we got from Bama. It certainly can happen. No idea if it would in this particular case.

You do also realize if they are a grad transfer they don't have to enter the portal
