I doubt that's the case.

It just doesn't seem like Kanu had that much interest. On the other hand, it seemed like Kanu was a USC lean because the family that took him in were big USC fans.

With Lucas, maybe the same, but I also heared much earlier that there may have been concerns about him getting admitted.

Well he wasn’t a take or even offer all cycle until we had a spot open up. Kind of shows the cards to begin with on level that Elston liked Kanu overall.

Kind of baffled why he isn't a take when we only took two DT in the last two cycles one being HINISH who is a project.

Hinish and likely Ford (I'm going with ISD here who think he slides into 3 technique) from this class. Last class was Rubio and Onye.

Plus do we really expect to see 4 down linemen as often going forward?

Could be the fact that he's supposed to be a junior in HS right now (he's 16 or recently turned 17). I know secondary education is usually different / advanced in Germany + SMC is an excellent school but this could be a case where he just hasn't had time to take the needed classes for ND.

I mean... this isn't Duke Basketball. No italics.

To be clear, I don’t know for certain he wasn’t a take which is why I said potentially. Just the sparse detail language of some of the updates + previous level of interest from Elston etc + what I perceive as not the size Elston usually likes has me on potentially not a take over the alternative, which would be he visited and told the staff he is no longer interested.

Late entry into the portal. Wonder if we’re involved. We certainly could use another DT.
Probably not a grad transfer
