Are they not allowed to practice in better cleats? Fuck Under Armor. I’m starting a fire and throwing all my UA shit in it today.
Just as an FYI that's not going to hurt UA at all, just your own wardrobe lol. A collective boycott of ND UA gear should be in order, though.

Won't matter when Irish are in Nike in 3 years in the BIG, and UA expires in 2024, NBC, 2025.

I certainly hope not. I hate Nike show they are the most uncomfortable things ever. Not to mention the people Nike supports.

I just bought my first pair of UA and they are very comfortable but they had like 15 styles and only had wide in 2 of them.

Obviously they make them for the players but I could see wear the shoes are an issue

Got a pair of the UA ND sneakers in the size that I have worn for 30+ years.

They are too small :cautious:

I prefer ND move on from UA, but it's getting pathetic when people continue to blame the bloody cleats for every conceivable injury imaginable.

I wore Adidas and UA for most of my sports career, no injuries whatsoever. Then my final season, I switched to Nike. Boom, high ankle sprain. Came down wrong and ankle swelled up to the size of a softball.

The harsh reality is that coming down on your foot wrong can result in a myriad of freak injuries if you're unlucky. Especially considering Evans is almost 100 pounds heavier than I was in HS, which means more overall weight bearing down on his metatarsal should he land awkwardly.

And this is all assuming they were wearing cleats in the first place, which it's very likely they weren't since we're still in summer workouts, so likely they were in tennis shoes.

I have a 12 4E foot. It’s almost shaped like a duck’s.

When I was a young man I would squeeze into Nikes, but as an adult my ego is gone.

There’s no Adidas, Nike, or UA for me anymore.
New Balance.
I’m just thankful they have pretty cool colors and styles now.

I agree it’s not just The shews. It’s the year around workouts and I still believe the turf has some blame too.

Probably Jones fracture if it’s the 5th metatarsal.
The 5th connects to the 4th unlike the rest & it’s a common sports injury, especially on the NBA.
Usually happens from hard start, stop movements.
I had that injury in both my feet in my 20’s. No surgery. My left healed completely & my right never did, causing a non-union fracture. It formed around the bone to protect it. I was advised to never play quick change, start/stop sports like basketball, football, racquetball, tennis, etc… ever again.
Even with surgery, he has a high chance of it being a problem with his size & playing football.

Yeah and if you watch the film he's making blocks at the point of the attack consistently. Helluva blocker.
Agreed! He was flashing so much as a blocker that I had to look up his number to see who he was. He is impressive!

They've used it once this year against NC St. on a 3rd-and-1 and he picked up 2 yards for the first down. I think he's been successful every time except once since they started using it. I have no idea why they didn't use it against OSU.

Did we get stuffed doing it vs USC last year? from like a long 1 yard?

The TE room, RB room, and WR room will be deep and loaded next year that’s why you need to bring in a transfer QB. Hopefully Fischer comes back that way I’d feel much better about OL. I think Billy S takes a guard spot, Fischer moves back to left tackle and right tackle is Jagusah
