At 19 commits, we’re already at 283 on 247 the composite, which would be behind only 2026, 2008, and essentially tied with 2013 since ~2000+. Thats also without Monds / Vaughn being rated as top 50 talents. You’d already be locked into a top 3-4 class if those guys were rated at their 2028 rankings.

That's a pretty high bar. Two AA's one who will be a Hall of Famer and one who is a Hall of Very Good! I'd take Olu and Simien at 80% of McGlinchey & Nelson.

This is from Halter’s commitment last year, I think Richie has grown a few inches.

I think he may be the most underrated guy in the class. 2 way lineman with a multi-sport background and great throwing stats, coupled with his NFL bloodline. The fact he’s a legacy with an older brother on the team is a huge plus in the transfer portal era too.

I'm surprised they wanted Tyler. I know he's somewhat different but I'd think Parks and Segun would be 1A/1B with Tyler 2. Simien is down to TAMU and ND then?

We've hosted a lot of kids on OVs who might not have the prime position when they are reaching the end of recruiting. Some positions are filled up, others have many options. "Wanted" is being abuse here so let me say it clearly. I'm surprised they were wanting him take a spot with Segun and Parks looking like strong possibilities. We wanted some other DEs until we realized we had 3 great options who wanted to be at ND.

Not recently really. We signed everyone except the one TE last year we hosted. And I think he had his chance before we landed Premer IIRC. Tyler Alexander had a UGA and Texas offer and just committed to Texas, if he wanted to commit on the spot, like Segun presumably did, I don’t see a reason he wouldn’t have been able to.
