I'm admonishing Nazareth Academy for being whiny grips.

It feels like things sort of worked out for McCarthy. Life went on for him pretty well.
Ah, thank you for clarifying, I was really confused. Completely agree with your take on it. I get it for a few years, but come on, ND is a good school like you said, Brian, Chip, and Tommy are gone.

From a football stance, Naz was correct about ND picking the "wrong" guy. Do we get to... the semifinals with him instead of RL? I'm not try to start a discussion comparing them, just sort of asking the ether.

JJ McCarthy was surrounded by NFL Draft picks at Michigan. Those teams were loaded on top of having a very intricate sign stealing operation that was going on while he was in that program.

It seems like kind of a petty thing for Nazareth to be upset about regardless. Not sure how it all went down, but again, anyone who was at ND at that time has moved on. Maybe everyone else should move on in the emotional sense, too.

I'm Italian. I know all about grudges, and believe me, they're mostly silly. This one is definitely that.

Xavier Hassan is a name to track this weekend. ND been setting the tone for months, per Chad Simmons.

Might be time for a profile.

I think we’re short a few profiles for ‘27, Hasan, Jack Brown, and Ace Alston especially among the visitors.

Santana Harvey seems like a sneaky good recruitment. UF legacy playing for Lakeland HS so take that fwiw, but he’s saying the right things about ND so far.

Is the easy comp for Quintin Burrell, Carnell Tate?

Brayden Parks and Deven Robertson represent an opportunity to stack multiple 300+ lb blue chip interior dlinemen. I already consider Richie Flanigan part of the class and have a funny feeling he'll be a clone of his Dad.

Some freaks on the edge visiting too, but '28 class Jackson Vaughn tops it for me. He's taking that Micah Parsons/Abdul Carter route to being an absolute menace on opposing qbs.

Vast improvement by the ND staff getting this lined up and the cancel rate sounds low. The critics of Mike Brown are quieted a bit after he has 3 top 50 prospects visiting.

I'm hearing of WR Quentin Burrell for the first time. A bit of research leads me to believe he's not related to the ND '05 DB of the same name. Is that accurate?

Impressive list of recruits visiting the game, but I am not surprised, I think they will be this impressive for all of our night games.

A WR haul of JJ Jr. and Sales would be huge. Is Sales from Indy?

Speaking of recruiting, it's time for that to ramp up with Coach Shrews and I hope he is bringing some boys in for basketball.

Yes, he is from Indy a la JonAnthony Hall and will be a top 10 recruit. He attends Lawrence North tho which isn't exactly a ND pipeline.

Jaxsen Stokes may be the guy at RB this cycle. I highly recommend his tape from the past few games, he has been making big plays. Was apparently the Mission League co-Offensive MVP last year as a sophomore

Sales is not originally from Indiana, believe he is moved here from Bama, not sure at what age but that fact also gives me less confidence.

Yes, originally but has been in Indy since grade school. I could obviously see that type of recruit landing in the SEC.
