I don't think there is any question it was the biggest win for the program this century. Going to Norman and beating OU in 2012 was pretty big, but nothing like beating an SEC superpower like UGA. The dominated them too.

Since 88 is kind of a tough one, though. Beating CU in the 1990 Orange Bowl and FSU in 1993 were massive wins in the moment.

UGA had 13 dudes drafted a few months later, and there are likely others who will be down the road. It was a shock to the system of fans and haters of ND alike.

Rivals 100 dropped today. A lot of highly ranked prospects are considering us and have visit plans. Definitely feels different than years post

Wasn't sure to put this, since his thread is locked, but ISD had a small piece on Ellis McGaskin in its Intel (highly recommended btw, and worth the 10 bucks every month). I know it's a looooooooong ways away, and people worry about the early commitment, but it sounds like EG wants to leave the state of Alabama, and that he wasn't really considering Bama/Auburn before making his decision. (247 shows an Auburn offer but not one from the Tide, FWIW).

Another note is that after he visited the Irish in June he went to LSU a few weeks later. I wasn't aware of the visit and thought it was interesting, considering people on the board were worried about the SEC calling. Don't know if it means anything, but thought it was noteworthy.

Just finished my first iteration of a 2027 Master sheet. It was a lot harder than last year at roughly this same time (see the June 29, 2024 edition for the 2026 class) - it seemed like more guys in the 2026 class had some buzz (most of the "Likelys" have had a CB or a very high percentage on On3), though it's interesting to see the difference between this board and the current class - lots of guys who weren't on the board at all, and a lot of "Likelys" who did not pan out.

As last year, all of my information comes from IE and from looking at On3 visit lists and offers. For those with a better sense of things, what changes should I make to the 2027 board?

Georgia skill recruiting will never not be confusing. They don’t recruit WR well. An offer here maybe because of Jarrard? If they were to land Bourque, that would be two QBs from New England in 3 years.

I like Hasan and Allen Evans (Trinty HS, KY) the most as prospects for 2027 corners. ND competing with VT, Tennessee, and NC State for Hasan at the moment.

Xavier Hasan is planning on visiting for the TAMU game

Previously visited Florida, UGA, OSU, Tennessee, and us over the summer
