I don't see how we take 2 TEs this class unless we're only taking 2 WRs. With that said, Howard/Hawk would be an incredible TE haul.One to keep an eye on at TE per Singer. ND is very optimistic

Even if they miss on Howard, it sure sounds like they will not be giving up on guys like Driver and Dollar. It wouldn't shock me to see one of those guys on a gameday visitor list come fall, just a hunch.I don't see how we take 2 TEs this class unless we're only taking 2 WRs. I've seen it reported on a few sites and mentioned here on IE that it is very possible we only take two WR's this year. Coleman and Jones might just be the end of it.I don't see how we take 2 TEs this class unless we're only taking 2 WRs. With that said, Howard/Hawk would be an incredible TE haul.
Good with 2, will take the right 3. It seems Gayles falls in that category, Cooper does not. Not sure who else would qualifyI've seen it reported on a few sites and mentioned here on IE that it is very possible we only take two WR's this year. Coleman and Jones might just be the end of it.
Easton Royal, Jamier Brown, Monshun Sales, Julian Caldwell, Matthew Gregory, Osani Gayles, and Trenton Yancey would probably all qualify as that 3rd WR you take no matter what.Good with 2, will take the right 3. And don't forget Mylan Graham in the portal too.We took 5 WRs last year and got Porter in the portal. I don’t think WR is a big need right now

Who says Cooper wouldn’t fit into a 3-man class?Good with 2, will take the right 3. It seems Gayles falls in that category, Cooper does not. Not sure who else would qualify
I don't think it's been officially said, but the chatter seems to be that they're allocating their resources to the DL/OL and that if he wants a spot it'll be at a discount, which I doubt he will take now that LSU and Ole Miss have recently entered the raceWho says Cooper wouldn’t fit into a 3-man class?
My take is Coleman fills the boundary WR need and also gives ND positional flexibility b/c he can also play field WR with his speed. I don't think you can say the same about Cooper as much as I love him as a prospect.Who says Cooper wouldn’t fit into a 3-man class?

What's the alphabetic assignment ND uses for WR/TE?Yeah, they've done a nice job with Howard from the outset as their pass catching TE, but they've ratcheted up their push (and likely their offer) after their first option, Jaxon Dollar, committed to Georgia. Hawk will be their Y, online guy. They badly want Howard to be their pass catcher.
W= Boundary (it gets me so mad)What's the alphabetic assignment ND uses for WR/TE?
What should it be or what do other teams use?W= Boundary (it gets me so mad)
Z= Slot
X= Field (it gets me so mad)
I think Y is what they use as the TE on the field. I would guess H or F is the other TE in 12 personnel.
I believe they use H for the second tight end position.W= Boundary (it gets me so mad)

In like 90% of schemes, the X is the boundary. That is my biggest complaint lol. WRs can be a bit different because of what personnel is on the field. Y is traditionally reserved for the TE. In 21 personnel, the other WR is the Z.What should it be or what do other teams use?
Exactly, probably got a few more out there but that's just for starters.Easton Royal, Jamier Brown, Monshun Sales, Julian Caldwell, Matthew Gregory, Osani Gayles, and Trenton Yancey would probably all qualify as that 3rd WR you take no matter what.

been reported as thisDoes ND use that or some media members on the ND beat? The depth chart doesn’t have those labels.
Isn’t Graham older? I was referring to Porter being the same class eligibility wise as the 5 we had coming in this yearAnd don't forget Mylan Graham in the portal too.
