Louisville loses
some of the worst hands I've seen at this levelSomeone needs to check the betting habits of #14 on LSU as well as his friends and family.
Exactly no way ACC gets more than 2 and Big 12 should only get 1 here’s how I see itACC one bid league now
How much did LSU spend on their OL this year?LSU looks like 2016 ND. Kelly shoud have been fired 2 years ago
total for the team was 18 millionHow much did LSU spend on their OL this year?
No in-state FBS programs surely mattersCan one of our resident upper midwest residents explain how the Dakotas became the hotbed of FCS football? What specific advantages do they have that makes them consistently the best teams each year? I don't follow FCS at all so I really have no clue.
That is exactly right. There is more high end athletic talent in the area than people might expect, there just isn't enough population density to spend time scouting it unless they are no-brainers or working the camp circuit. Those under-the-radar guys end up gravitating to the Dakotas FCS schools.No in-state FBS programs surely matters

I'm not there, but if I want to create a great CFB region, I want (in order):
* Loads of talent
* Relatively little to take pride in (i.e. inferiority complex/great desire to prove something)
* Community tensions (i.e. reasons why finding unity is important)
* Hardscrabble mindset
* Relatively little to do
SEC territory largely has all five elements. The Dakotas have everything but talent and tensions (as far as I know.)
There's plenty to take pride in if you're a:Little to do in the south?

Have you been to South Carolina, Georgia, Tennessee, Kentucky, Louisiana, or Florida? You’re going to say there isn’t much to do in any of those states? Nothing to take pride in? Might be a slight case of projection, because there is plenty to take pride in with any of those states.
Edit - Not every thread needs to be blitzed by each contrarian thought that springs to mind. Just the dumbest shit to then play victim when people call you out on it.

I loved the south when I lived there. I would move back in a heartbeat.Little to do in the south?

And he got all cocky when he ran for a first down. Couldn’t believe it given how bad their offense has been. Drew Pyne level swagger.Wisconsin QB 3/12 for 8 yds is an insane stat line for a team winning the game
Nothing to do with governance.You can say that about anywhere. You don’t have to agree with the governance of those places, but saying there’s nothing to take pride in is wild.
Doesn’t matter if Brian Kelly is the mayor of Charleston, that is still an incredible city. I’ll stack Savannah/Charleston up with all the great cities of NA.
Doesn’t matter though, because sportshard doesn’t know anything other than he really wants to say something about anything.
Yep. I've spent about a month total in places like Tennessee, South Carolina, Louisiana (New Orleans). Unforgettable places. The people are lovely. Much friendlier people than New York.I loved the south when I lived there. I would move back in a heartbeat.
This entire post is a list misquotes, strawmans, and exaggerations. You deliberately omitted and falsified words to suit your neurotic agenda. The worst posters on this site post sensibly 50% of the time, but with you it's like 1%, at best.Little to do in the south?

Literally nothing in my post, and everything in your post, was contrarian. And yes, I've been to roughly 45 states, including all you listed.
It's still on. They show it multiple times on ESPN2, usually starting at 1 a.m. EST, and then later on ESPN around 3 a.m. ESPNU also shows it.In years past i remember ESPN doing a cfb final on Saturday nights. Do i not get that or Is it not on any more?
Sounds like you made really bad choices where you decided to seek employment. The South isn’t for everyone, especially diehard Libs. Glad you are gone. Next step is to work on keeping the pie hole shut.Nothing to do with governance.
I know you didn't mention Mississippi, but I lived in Natchez for nearly 3 years working on an offshore rig. I spent plenty of time in the general south. It was so amazing I left for a 1 year consulting job on a rig in Rumaila (Iraq) & never once regretted the decision.
As far as the south goes, I enjoy the coast & inland bass fishing. Anything else, I'd rather be north of the Ohio River. Just my opinion
