Is the only real development that could knock ND out of playoffs (assuming they handle Stanford) is BYU winning B12 title game?

I interpreted it as a PITT/Auburn/LSU upset cements it this weekend, but isn’t needed.

Auburn winning is certainly possible.

You gotta worry about Miami crushing Pitt, BYU winning out and Michigan beating Ohio State.

Pitt has had wide open guys for like 2/3 TD's. Missed a FG that would have made it a one score game. Miami got a late TD otherwise they would have had 10 first half points. ND was crushing them by now.

Pitt couldn't do ANYTHING on the ND defense. Pitt is moving the ball well on Miami.

Pitt QB has already thrown for more yards than he did the whole ND game. And Desmond Reid played against ND. By far their best weapon.

Miami and Pitt have about the same total yardage right now. They are far from dominating. Pretty even actually.

At half of the ND game - total yards ND 240 Pitt 81. That was dominating.

Today Miami 168 Pitt 145

Seems highly correlated with what’s going on with OSU/Michigan, which makes sense, as Michigan could steal a spot with a win.

FanDuel updates their playoff odds live and we’re suddenly back up to -4500 to make playoffs.

Seems highly correlated with what’s going on with OSU/Michigan, which makes sense, as Michigan could steal a spot with a win.

We should still keep tabs on Texas Tech/BYU next week and Georgia/Bama.

Might also have something to do with UCF giving BYU problems and Pitt playing pretty much even with Miami. Along with the OSU/MI of course.

The only thing it could possibly do is if BYU gets dropped to like 18-20, it would make a loss to them look worse by TTU and then possibly give ammunition to drop TTU below ND, anything could help.
