I am a bit floored that at least 1 of the RBs, most notably Gibran Payne, didn't transfer. Everything about his situation said transfer: was largely here because of DMC, buried on the depth chart because of injury, etc. Without knowing for certain, I'd guess he is a semester away from graduating and that ND degree is just too valuable to pass up given his lack of NFL future.

I’m nervous about jadarian price

With how much Love has worked out of the slot, I have a feeling we’re going to see Love and Price on the field for 50%+ of all offensive snaps. It was one of their most efficient formations last season, and with a green QB, would probably be best to lean heavily on their best two playets

I guess the expectation is that the scholarship number increase is expected to be finalized before the start of the season
Plus my understanding is that there is also the ability to fund scholarships via NIL or third party collective, that won’t count against ND school funded scholarships.

I think the slot reps are the most overrated storyline

The two biggest spring portal tamper spenders are on the schedule in Miami + Syracuse. Plus there is USC, also on the schedule. It actually makes sense somewhat that ND probably stepped up for any tampering attempts in those cases

They could but despite what they bring back, Warren and Carter were just so important to their team. Hard for me to see them being better than they were last year without those two given how much attention they commanded on each side of the ball.
DDS will be a terror on the end for them....I expect him to pick right up where Carter left off and maybe even produce a bigger year. He was basically unblockable against us.

Arik Gilbert was the best TE prospect ever at the Prep level but for some peculuar reason the guy keeps transferring to schools who are bringing in the #1TE in the country (UGA then Nebraska), guess at this rate Kansas St it is, pure genius.
With Savannah State now, I think that’ll do it avoiding TE competition

Can't believe we hung onto all the RB's colored me shocked no idea how the staff will find enough carries for them all but there's at least 5 guys who are good enough to get carries.

$$$ plus elite recruiters at HC and RB convincing these guys that the position is wide open if they can hang out for one more year

plus with the roster spots available theres no need to run anybody off at this time. Technically they could add someone now right (114 at present)?

No offense to him but Chance Tucker being on the team still is legit incredible

At this point you’re almost treating some guys like walk on spots, and if he’s cool with that, then cool with us. Like how there is zero walk on DL now as well.

If you aren’t delusional (Drew Pyne) about your chances to play professionally it’s a pretty sweet deal to be on the back end of the roster. You’re getting a top rate education for free, some base NIL and a chance to get a national championship ring

II mentioned this the other day like last year someone like Hurleman (non scholly) would have had way more value than someone like Tucker (scholly + base NIL money). Lot of imbalance there
