I never understood how this guy has carved his corner of the internet for so long. I don't think they were ever "good". Is it a notoriety thing for the high school kids? I feel like their buddies could make better graphics.

i think it was more of he was one of the first to do it and then just has name recognition now

I'm not saying no one new is going to transfer, but if you're gonna transfer there's no upside in waiting until the last possible minute, vs. going early and setting the market for yourself.
The spring game was a week ago. Guys know where they stand. If you're jumping for playing time and are anything less than a guaranteed stud (in which case you're in a good spot here), you're already behind if you show up at the new place in June. Likewise the big money has already been allocated by this point in the cycle. Our retention game and our culture are strong.
Famous last words of course, but I doubt we lose anyone we'd miss, at this point.

What does round 4 money look like is important as the crowd here likely knows he would be getting Beck/Nico money for staying: 2-4 Million in 2025. Second contract money.

So idk? Bet on himself? Looks at it from optimism, he is good for 5-10 year NFL career and the money s a wash after that. I’m not saying that’s right.

Where was he projected? I didn't have time to look at any mock drafts this year. For a qb with his pedigree and production at Texas, has to be a disappointing entry into the league.

Players had until midnight last night to notify their school of intentions to enter the portal…..the schools have until midnight tomorrow night to officially place them into the portal.

Players can announce it themselves whenever they choose though, right? Though I'd guess some late-deciders might wait until the draft is over so as not to be lost in all that noise.
Either way, you'd think if anyone significant was leaving a well-covered program like Notre Dame, word would be out by now.

True. This seems to indicate we're at 93, and it's hard to see how we lose eight to medicals or normal attrition. But at least a few of the more likely transfer candidates probably have their degree (or will soon) and could GT.

Not sure……I had just heard on a couple of podcasts that the players notify their school and then the school enters the name into the portal.
