These 5 star kids are chasing money instead of going to a great school with good coaches getting developed and getting a good degree.
Peyton Bowen hasn’t done shit
Dante Moore may break the record for most schools transferred too
Keon Keeley hasn’t seen the field
Justin Scott hasn’t done anything
Jason Moore buried on the depth chart
I didn't know that none of them have contributed. That's really a shame though...

Bowen started like half their games for them last year as a sophomore. He’s fine.

Thinking back as long as I've been following recruiting none of the high profile recruits that either decommitted or guys we were heavily favored to land really haven't had much success. Anthony Barr is the only guy I can think of that actually went on to have a decent career in the NFL. I'm sure there is other guys that succeeded but I can't think of any.

Any word on where Steve Angeli is looking? I honestly think Tennessee could be a great fit for him. They need a QB and despite what a lot of people think, their offense is extremely run-heavy and the QB is used to conservatively spread the ball around with the occasional big throw/big play - Nico just couldn't make or hit the throws.

I'm not sure about their depth chart, but I think Angeli could go in there and get the starting job on a potential CFB Playoff program.

And we all thought that lost out on a BIG time recruit.

I know we don't have a crystal ball, but you never know if those guys (Especially KK) stick with ND they're way better off. I'm a huge fan of "you make your bed you have to lie in it" and I will 100% be rooting for Bowen, Keeley, Moore and Knight to end up needing to fall back on their degrees. But ND has been creating some studs at their positions (except QB) not sure they couldn't have turned PB and KK into studs as well.

their offense from a QB development POV is straight ass. Nothing would prepare a player less to head to the pro's

Correct. I'm trying to think of a single QB from that Briles offense that was prepared for the NFL. Even RG3's great rookie season was attributed more to zone-read than anything else. Same can be said for receivers in that offense.

Keon Keeley hasn’t seen the field
Keeley was hurt his freshman season (shoulder IIRC) and last year made a position change and was forced to add weight as a result. He played a bit..but nothing major.

ND wanted and would have taken him back heading into this season.

Didn't Merck tell us it was the opposite? He expressed interest to ND, but decided to stick at Bama because he's not unhappy?

I don't see how that is the opposite. ND would have welcomed him back. Keeley had some interest but ultimately decided to stay at Bama.

This is not what I heard. He had interest but before anything moved forward ND declined. It’s all hearsay any ways because I doubt Keeley with ever say anything publicly and we know Freeman isn’t going to publicly comment on it.

I guess our sourcing just disagrees. I know the staff would have welcomed him back. Unless the implication here is that ND didn't want to meet the NIL number, which is possible, but I never heard that. Football side, he would have been welcomed.
