All joking aside, I do believe that Shrews is recruiting at a better rate than Brey did, especially comparing to his last 5 years. Brey just leaving the cardboard bare really set us back a few years. I hope there is a better turnaround this year compared to years past.

Some highlights of Towt. Great rebounder. Very good assist guy for a forward. Kind of an awkward looking mid-range floater, but it seems to work for him. Looking at his stats, he is a brutal free throw shooter.

It’s sad my hope is that they can be in the bubble conversation come March as exceeding my expectations. I do think they were a bit snake bitten last year between injury, poor defensive coaching, and late blown leads (believe it was 8 games they led or tied with under 3 minutes to go).

Hopefully Towt gives them a good defensive boost and Harrelson can have a Wesley like impact

Towt’s kind of a unicorn. 6’8 white guy who is a fantastic rebounder. Self made player apparently. Had to walk on at Northern Arizona after underwhelming high school career who gradually got playing time. Led nation in rebounding last year.
Wonder if we’ll play him with Njie or instead of.

Not wrong. People aren't flying in and driving 10 hours to see a game at the Joyce Center on a Thursday against Wake in January.
