As many as they need to not have an excuse of Tommy and Del. If they weren't happy with their options they needed to do more to improve it. There's no excuses for walking into a season with a shit position group anymore. There were four scholarship WRs plus Faison in this years freshman class. How many would you have had them take?
Randy Moss gonna walk through them doors any day now.Jamie U mentioned Tee Shephard and Jalen Guiton in this article

Potential Notre Dame WR Coach Candidates
ISD's Jamie Uyeyama lists several candidates for the now open wide receivers job on Notre Dame's coaching staffirishsportsdaily.com
Yes. Kenny Guiton and Jamarcus Shepherd.Joke?
Driskell just said he is pretty sure he knows who it is. Does anyone have a clue?
That’s my guess if he’s saying he “knows” already since UW is in the playoffs and Shepherd would be weeks out from finalized.Brown?
Yeah I don’t see this being any betterThat’s my guess if he’s saying he “knows” already since UW is in the playoffs and Shepherd would be weeks out from finalized.
Pretty underwhelming if that’s the case.
Is it too late for Tweeder?Crony ball

The more I think about it, I'm not convinced that he was a realistic candidate.I bet UW winning yesterday fucked our plans for Sheppard. We can't hold out until after the CFP with the state of the WR room. And can't expect any serious transfers to commit to us without a WR coach.
Immediately, I'd think. When would we expect him to join the staff and get recruiting? Immediately or after Wisconsins bowl game? Not sure if it has been mentioned anywhere.
