I think only being up 1 kinda worked in Oregon’s favor. OSU was slicing them apart and it felt like they kinda got complacent once they got close to FG range. If they needed 7 to win I bet they would have gotten it.

Day's problem with the OSU fans is that he lost to Michigan three times. The other big losses, e.g. to Georgia, aren't as big a deal to a lot of them.

I'm not complaining bc f Day, but I wonder why OSU lost 4 seconds on the clock when Oregon committed the illegal substitution(went from 10sec to 6). That doesn't seem fair does it? If that is the case, can't the defense just keep committing penalties until the clock runs out?

Yes agree. I was surprised it did. Honestly thought Gabriel played better than Howard and UO had more overall offensive speed. Love their starting back. Kid was quick and could block like a beast. Very fun team.
