I switched over to Wisconsin when Tennessee was on commercial. It was a two minute drill to win the game. They turned the ball over on downs before Tennessee was back from commercial break.
These commercials are longer than a high school football game tonight.

I don’t see that as a problem

They also beat AtM and about 6 other bowl eligible teams, but I don’t recall saying anyone should be scare of ND. So I don’t know why you would respond to me with that. I’ve watched them multiple times this season and they have done nothing special.
Oregon has the best win of any team, beating #2 Ohio State & are undefeated in the second toughest conference, what are you talking about… 😂

that I’m not scared of them. That there are no dominant teams this year. That the BIG is overated and has maybe 2 good teams Top to bottom the SEC would own the BIG and the SEC is overrated too. What are you talking about?🤣🤣🤣

Hate to burst your bubble, but we are a good defensive team (elite when healthy) with an average offense that is one dimensional. Let’s be real, we aren’t running the football on Oregon, Ohio State, Texas, Alabama, Georgia, or Tennessee.

Hate to burst your bubble but your opinion means nothing to me. I have watched every game ND has played and every game that has been televised for every team you just mentioned. Peace.

Ran it on AnM just fine and they have a better front 7 than most of the teams you mentioned.

ND can run on it on anyone any given Saturday. Leonard isn't the best QB but he is an x factor in the run game.

Respect your opinion, but I don’t see it. Our run game in years past has been way better than this years, and that was shut down once we got into the playoffs. I don’t care how good your run game is. You have to be able to throw the ball downfield and no elite defense is taking our passing game seriously, nor should they.

You’re the one telling others what to think and all I said was that I’m not scared of Oregon. Ok there fella.
You stated Oregon hasn’t done anything special. That’s probably because you watched every single snap of every single game of theirs, right? 😂

I’m not telling anyone how to think, just stating facts. They have the best win of any college football team & are undefeated in the second hardest conference.

Spin whatever narrative you want to spin, CNN.

I’ll jump in or “around” 😉 on this one. Was at the game tonight and the ducks definitely looked beatable. Wisconsin’s D played tough, they ran the ball effectively but their QB is brutal!! QB play was the difference tonight! So, sure we could play with Oregon and possibly beat them if RL plays solid especially in the passing game.
My .02 cents

Did you watch the game against OSU? Have you watched any of their games? Have you watched OSU? So what they have the best win? So you are talking resumes?

You stated ND couldn’t run on any of the teams when every team you listed has been run on, but ND sucks so bad in your opinion that they can’t. That’s your preaching narrative. Now I’m done with your condescending attitude.

The word “sucks” was never used in any of my posts. Once again, spinning a narrative that’s not there.

Oregon and Ohio State both did their damage in the passing game against each other, not run game. If you think that we could run the football on Ohio State, quit drinking.

You don't see it bc it's unorthodox. They don’t have a workhorse back like Estime or Kyren, or an offensive line stacked with All-Americans. Instead, they have Riley, and for all his flaws, he makes this offense lethal in the red zone and in short-yardage situations. Doesn't matter if it's pretty or not, you win most football games if your offense sustains drives and scores TDs.

In the past, the lack of a deep threat let defenses stack the box and shut down the run game. That’s not the case this year. Even when defenses load the box—as they all do—they struggle to stop this offense. Riley’s ability to run, or even the mere threat of him running, neutralizes the extra defender(s) and keeps the offense moving. Eventually, the defense gets frustrated, starts guessing instead of reading their keys, and one of the backs breaks a long one.

The biggest challenge for this offense is avoiding negative plays, particularly penalties. It’s hard to stick with the run when you’re behind the chains, and that’s when their struggles with throwing the ball downfield become evident, and they become very easy to defend. Denbrock has gotten creative, and with Mitchell Evans getting healthier, they may be able to dig their way out of 1st and 20 a little bit better.

If the run game is shut down, it’ll likely be the result of self-inflicted mistakes, not because another team outschemes them or outmatches them with talent.

If they can clean up the bullshit penalties, this offense has the potential to run the ball well enough to win games against anybody, especially if the defense plays like they have been.

that’s just one idiot’s opinion

About damn time BYU went down. Been living on a prayer for weeks.
Oh shit they went down? Is that good or not though for ND? The Big 12 is going to get a champ in the playoffs no matter of record, does this give them a higher chance of getting 2 maybe? I honestly have no idea and can’t even fathom all the different scenarios of who will make it in.

This is huge cause Colorado can’t steal a bid winning the conf champ while BYU also sneaks in with 1 loss. Finally

I don't think BYU getting an at large would be at NDs expense. But what it may do is give Boise the bye over the big 12 champ and that may lead to ND v big 12 champ in South bend. I'll take that.

Can you even imagine the whining and bitching around college football if ND gets a 6 seed, plays big 12 champ at home and then plays 3 seed acc champ?

With the Tennessee and BYU losses, we should be going to #6 in the CFP ranking - Right?

OSU beats Indiana and A&M beats Texas and we are suddenly the 6 seed. Then we’d have to hope we don’t get jumped on conference championship weekend.
If OSU beats IU, I think 7 is the ceiling unless Penn State loses.

If OSU beats Oregon in BIGCG, it'll likely be 5 Oregon, 6 Penn State, 7 ND.

If Oregon wins, I don't think committee will ignore OSU vs psu head to head so OSU will be a two loss 5 seed solely bc these assholes ranked Penn State too high from the outset. And if they don't "punish" OSU for a conference title game loss, they may be inclined not to "punish" the SEC loser either.

Who the hell knows what they'll do. This ridiculous Penn State ranking is fucking everyone over. That's all I know.

Honestly, this BYU team is so fraudulent that I actually would have felt bad for the superior SEC team that got left out for them if they got an at-large.

I agree they're fraudulent but won't shed a tear for any of those assholes. I'd laugh about it and if it was Tennessee I'd probably troll them on tiger droppings. They're insufferable. Very petty of me, I know.

Can’t wait to see what the committee does with all those 8-2 SEC teams. There could be 5-6 of them. And they could all end up 6-2 in the conference. How does the league pick two teams for the conference championship game ?

I don’t see any 2 loss team ahead of ND unless their second loss was in the CCG and that still isn’t guaranteed they would be above ND.
I have no idea how you could put any of the 2 loss SEC teams above ND now since they’ve all beaten each other. There’s no way to separate them, which means you probably can’t just move one ahead of ND, without doing the whole bunch, which they probably won’t do.

My guess is Bama is eighth, Ole Miss is ninth, Georgia is tenth, Tennessee is eleventh, pushing Tennessee out of the playoffs barring some upsets. I think eye test makes them the worst out of those, but they did beat Bama. It's tough. 3 of those 4 are in though, and I think IU will get in over some of them as long as they cover against Ohio State.
