We need to get more creative with the transfer portal. If you don't feel comfortable with the depth you have you need to go out and solve it in the portal. Regardless next year WR, TE, RB on offense should all be deep, OL I'm a little worried about if there is a tackle out there with starting experience I would snatch him up.

Assuming Fisher comes back, QB, DT, DE, S should be the target positions IMO.

Love the opener @ TAM. Winnable game on the road with high exposure. Brings back memories of Holtz and RC Slocum.

The 12 team playoff is going to be nice. No more single last second season ending games. If we drop a game to FSU or USC next season, not a huge deal. Just hurts seeding. Given a good transfer QB again, we could run the table in that schedule. Crazy as once I thought TAMU was going to be a monster in 2024. We are likely a shoe in with a good season. The only caveat is we won’t have Hartman and Alt. But we will have outstanding receivers, RB’s, a lot of talent at QB, and basically everywhere else. I can’t believe I’m being positive the day after this horseshit loss.

With the Weapons on offense plus Evans and Staes I think Evans could be a 1st or 2nd round pick in 2025 any QB would be love to come here

Looking at these 2024 big ten and sec schedules - we need to put someone on the schedule with a pulse. Our SOS is going to be ass if we settle for army.

Sorta odd not to have next year's schedule out by now, right?
Army's joining the American Conference has caused this delay. They've needed to wriggle out of most of their 2024 schedule. Still haven't. Might not be able to squeeze ND in. And who will want to play in Yankee Stadium in November? Its all TBD.
Army might have to play a partial American schedule which would make them ineligible for the conference championship.

The only real weekend that they could do at Yankee stadium would be November 23.

October 5th and November 2nd would not happen due to the potential MLB playoffs.

100% agree. Bring the money to our house.
Not only that but their schedule goes

Open
Florida State
Virginia
Open
@USC

You could basically having your team at home for a month straight before going out to USC. Why throw in travel and playing on what I can only imagine will be a shit playing surface. It’s just stupid all around.

Getting ready to re-up season tix. Will travel up for NIU, UL, and FSU games and down to College Station for opener. Maybe to Atlanta for GT. Assuming season ticket holders are shoe-ins for any playoff game, but haven't seen/heard any official info.

First line is TAM favored by 1.5 points

Better than I expected. On paper both of these teams could be really, really good, with A&M having more NFL talent, and ND having more experience.

From a national perspective, what a week 1 game. Hope it's the sole Sunday game if it's not already. All eyes on us.

People forget how good Weigmann was prior to injury. They are going to have v good QB + top 20 defense at the minimum.
