I love that our receivers have to practice against our secondary this fall camp. It's going to be the toughest secondary they see all year.

I think Week 1 will be a doozy. No other game on the schedule has me feeling this uneasy. Except maybe at a 7-4 USC team who will undoubtedly be playing their home Super Bowl against ND, in hopes of keeping them from a top 5 ranking.

Insofar as Baker is a known quantity, wouldn't this suggest Knapp is making improvements?

it's interesting to me that they moved Absher to guard and and Lambert is at RT. Maybe Knapp is something to get excited about.

Tosh Baker 1st team minutes is the sacrifice Notre Dame makes to turn a freshman 3 star into an All-American. No biggie.

This. We don't really know anything yet, so I'm going to wait until we have more info before we panic even more about the OL than most already have. It would be wise to get someone some burn at backup LT, and frankly all of the OL spots, ahead of the season.

Optimistic view: Knapp is something special, the next great one at LT. Pessimistic view: Baker is literal ass and we are screwed.

The truth is likely somewhere in the middle.
