Just makes me more angry tbh.
Yeah I mean this is shaping up to be the best Notre dame team since the early 90s, even with all the injuries. Just an insane loss.

I’d rather have Penn State. Not sure I want any part of Milroe running.Alabama is the ideal opponent in my opinion. They have been absolutely terrible against offenses with mobile quarterbacks, and their offensive line isn't any good either. Linebackers have proven to be good against running QBs as well.
With the caveat of, if it’s at home, that may not be so bad. Let those bitches play above the Mason Dixon in December for the first time…ever??Avoid 1st round matchup with an SEC team should be the goal now.
Let Bama lose to ND in December in SB in the 1st round. We'll never get another CFP home game ever again. With the caveat of, if it’s at home, that may not be so bad. Let those bitches play above the Mason Dixon in December for the first time…ever??
Would ND fans sell them tickets? With the caveat of, if it’s at home, that may not be so bad. Let those bitches play above the Mason Dixon in December for the first time…ever??
I agree that Ga is not the same team as years past and are probably benefiting a bit because of that. The dogs aren’t a championship caliber team but I do think their Texas win is still propping them up.Georgia got their ass whipped by ole miss far worse than the score suggests. Georgia did nothing on offense - their only TD was scored on a short field. Ole Miss kicked five field goals, several were very short. Could have easily been a 40 something to 10 game. It would defy all logic for anyone to believe Georgia should be ranked higher.
The haven't looked great all year. Even their win against Texas was sloppy - Beck threw three picks and looked lost. They escaped Kentucky largely due to stoops losing his balls in the fourth quarter and not going for it on 4th and a foot. They let miss State hang around, Florida lost their QB mid game which certainly helped them. We're only having this discussion bc they're Georgia.
I could think of much more ideal opponents, like Miami or IUAlabama is the ideal opponent in my opinion. They have been absolutely terrible against offenses with mobile quarterbacks, and their offensive line isn't any good either. Linebackers have proven to be good against running QBs as well.
Why?? I don't believe any team would like to face the Irish D right now....Avoid 1st round matchup with an SEC team should be the goal now.
Would you rather play one of Penn St, BYU, Indiana or one of Georgia, Bama, or Tennessee? Why?? I don't believe any team would like to face the Irish D right now....
Maybe but wouldnt lose an ounce of sleep over the Irish O now...Why?? I don't believe any team would like to face the Irish D right now....

Absolutely one of the first group.Would you rather play one of Penn St, BYU, Indiana or one of Georgia, Bama, or Tennessee?
Irish - regardless of which team they would play first would have to play one of these (possibly) at some time to the NC game. Why would one want to play one of the them first or last? What would make the difference when they play?? Doesn't make sense to me - guess I'm missing something.Absolutely one of the first group.
My preference in order:
1) BYU (can’t happen as I think they only make it as BIG 12 autobid, which is a bye)
2) Penn St (did you see the OSU game?)
3) IU (Cigs is awesome and worries me, but talent level way below the SEC on the list)
4) Tennessee (I’ve been unimpressed all year. Give me Golden against a young QB all day)
5) Georgia (Beck throwing ints to our DBs like it’s his job)
6) Bama (Milroe is Jekyll and Hyde and I don’t want the good side)
Because it would really be nice for the program to have a playoff winIrish - regardless of which team they would play first would have to play one of these (possibly) at some time to the NC game. Because someone asked a question with those specific teams listed and I answered lol. Doesn’t matter to me what round, that is still my preference of who to play from that list.Irish - regardless of which team they would play first would have to play one of these (possibly) at some time to the NC game. What's propping up Texas? PSU and Texas are both benefitting from only playing one good team right now.I agree that Ga is not the same team as years past and are probably benefiting a bit because of that. then lose in a different round than the first..... ok - got ya... just want to make it in to lose; just not in the first round...Because it would really be nice for the program to have a playoff win
Sell them tickets and I will pick the tickets off of their frozen corpses (high of 28 degrees, never experienced by a Bama hick before)Would ND fans sell them tickets?
Don’t necessarily disagree as I think Texas was gifted a fairly easy schedule and lost to the only decent team they have played. But if you’re going to use that argument, the Ga loss looks a bit better than the Irish loss. Now, I believe there are three teams currently ranked above the Irish that are much bigger questions- Penn St, BYU, and Indiana. That’s where I think the Irish fans should be a bit upset with - not Texas at this point. What's propping up Texas? PSU and Texas are both benefitting from only playing one good team right now.
Stating the obvious…? I’d rather have Livvy Dunne. Not sure I want any part of Roseanne Barr.I’d rather have Penn State. Not sure I want any part of Milroe running.
I agree with you there. I can’t figure out a few teams (Georgia, Ole Miss, Tejas, Orygun) but ND seems as good as any. ND’s limitations are more apparent or obvious than most (i.e., RL and the passing attack), but when it’s clicking, ND can beat any. I just hate the injuries y’all were subjected to.Of all the years recently to make it, this might be it. There is no true dominant team that I see. In 2012, we had no business being on the same field as Bama. I don’t feel the same this year.
Only sad thing is our critical injuries, we’d be so much more complete without those.
If RL continues to improve, I think we have as good of a shot as anyone.
