I hope we play Penn St. They got too many advantages calls tonight and it'd be a great blue blood rematch from the 80's.
Our record against each other Is 9-9 with 1 tie, all time.
We have the best margin of victory game at 44-7

I'll be glad to read it. Just make sure you reply to what I actually wrote, not some point I never attempted to make. Happy New Year to everyone here too!

Bishop, I live in Kentucky.

I’ve been listening to UK fans take credit for Alabama’s success on the football field since 2009.

Please don’t tell me to NOT take joy in the downfall of overinflated SEC teams.
Same in Tennessee. They’re insufferable. Every day, “why don’t you join a conference?”

I’ve recently just started telling them that we are like America and prefer our independence and you are some 3rd rate European country that joined the EU so you can suckle at the teet of Germany and take pride in other’s accomplishments.

I do get sick here in SEC land of the opinion that last year, or the reality 5 years ago is justification for something today. “Alabama should be in cause…”

“SEC is the toughest conference”
“Alabama is Alabama”
“Everyone else sucks” (basically option 1 worded another way)
“Alabama is best 3 loss team” (again option 1)

The truth being once the SEC was likely the deepest conference, once it had the most premier teams (as in 2 a year). The truth also is that isn’t this year and it’s hard to say any team is premier in college football. Blame it on the transfer portal or nil, but it’s too early to determine if this is a short term down turn or the new normal created by changes in the cfb landscape.

Nothing has really changed for James Franklin. He beat SMU and Boise State in the playoff. Boise State as a dumb penalty and missed FG away from having the lead at one point. He probably has to see this thing out the entire way, and it's hard to see this Penn State team being able to win two more games considering where the caliber of opponent is and Franklin's history in those games.

I don't understand why Penn State wasn't running the ball more.

Boise State didn't have the horses in the end. Way too many penalties (Penn State had a ton too) and turnovers to win a game of this magnitude.

Boise must have used a Glock to shoot themselves in the foot that many times. PSU isn’t that impressive, particularly on offense.
