If it's Avery Johnson, he must really care about academics. I find it hard to believe that he would rather chose to move to a different position at ND (no fucking way he stays a QB) than stay home and replicate what Martinez is doing.

Where the hell did the idea that we're not recruiting him as a QB come from?

If Aranda gets a big job offer does anyone think Novasad would still be interested? Kid throws a pretty ball.

They are 3-3 and just lost to a pathetic WVU team last night. I wouldnt count on this happening. Last year may end up being the anomaly.

I mean, if Johnson doesn’t make it at QB could he play WR, sure. He’s athletic enough. But, no, I highly doubt this is an Avery Davis situation. I think ND would either keep him at QB or he’d transfer to play QB. I mean, he’s a top 75 QB now. There’s no putting that genie back in the bottle.

is someone committing live on campus today?!

there is a growing speculation that an annoucement of that nature may happen on Driskell's live show around 4pm.

EDIT: he mentioned a special guest with a special announcement. Add to the fact that Jeremiyah Love's entire family joined him on his OV this weekend. But, who knows... it could be Brady Quinn with a new NIL fund.

It’s probably something stupid that’s related to his company.

I think Johnson’s best choice is ND regardless. If he switches to WR, he’s got NFL upside based on athletic ability. If he starts at QB, he’s likely good enough to be an NFL QB. If he’s good at neither, he’ll have an elite degree. Thinking ND isn’t the best choice for him could be a little short sighted. ND will force the best out of him, whatever that is.

Won't leak too much, but they say Carr is staying in '24 and ND is has been in contact with a specific QB and are optimistic. Sounds like JA or AJ

Jackson Arnold or Arnold Jackson?

M’Pemba got NIL’d. He really liked Freeman but then put ND on the back burner when he and people around him realized how much money he could make signing somewhere else.
We get NIL'd by the The University of Notre Dame.

Best of the internet era and it isn’t close. I thought 2008 might come close but that only has Jonas Gray at #92 for RB and Robert Blanton at #271 for CB.

Since Malloy, Beauchamp and Wadsworth killed the program in 1995.

There has to be a reason why not one single 5 or 4 star QB will join this class. Literally the room is wide open. Excellent receivers coming in. It’s Notre Dame. How the fuck is nobody looking at this and saying, ya know, their defense is kinda solid. They have a hell of a class coming in and their QB room is fucking balls. I could start immediately for one of the more legit programs not just today but in history. WTF!!!!! Even if I fucking hated Notre Dame, I’d be dead serious about going there based on their desperate need at QB, brand, and overall talent in the ‘23 class. I’m not just talking the Dante Moore’s, but also the dozens of 4 star kids going to programs to ride pine.
