Well Jimbo has the most to answer for b/c he’s basically Kevin Sumlin after the same number of years. This is his program so no excuses.

BK getting paid to rebuild LSU. It’s not like he walked into a great situation (go look at the # of transfers). So he’ll be expected to have them back to competing for SEC West crowns soon.

Freeman did inherit a successful program but his inexperience must’ve prevented him from looking behind the golden luster b/c there’s obviously some structural issues that didn’t get addressed. The WR room is trash. Hiestand hasn’t solved the OL issue & it actually looks worse than last season. The lack of elite QB commits is finally coming home to roost. There were zero additions from the Transfer Portal that could’ve made an immediate impact (DB, QB, WR). Rees now seems like he’s over his head as well which doesn’t bode well.

LSU fans knew BK couldn’t fix that culture & roster overnight…yet they paid him b/c they thought he’d be the long term answer
ND fans knew Marcus Freeman would be learning all the job….yet they paid him b/c they thought he’d be the long term answer..
Aggie fans can go screw themselves as they are getting what they deserve…that’s all on JIMBO.

I'd contact Cade McNamara who will surely hit the portal at the end of the season. Hopefully there are better QB's that will be available for next season, but he's better than the bag of suck that comprises the QB room on this team.
