UC is on a roll, and ECU isn't supposed to be very good...

Therefore, I fully expect the Pirates to be a major pain in the ass on Friday night.

Young with 60 yards and a TD tonight. Thanks Chip.

Go Cinci....

Fake punt late with a big lead... Ouch, but loved it. The days of being nice are over. Statements every game are needed. Love how Fickell let's his younger depth guys actually play later in games, instead of going into the handoff O and prevent D.

Why do they have game day from the Masters....
Guessing a cost move since they already have crews there....

Go Bearcats. ECU’s coach is sooooooooft.

Don’t call for an overload punt block late in the game if you don’t want to get dunked on by a senior linebacker who sees what you’re doing and beats you at the chess match.

Fickell didn’t even have to call it... it was all on the punt protectors lol.

Also, if you’ve got two guys ejected for head hunting, maybe don’t worry about the other team so much at the end anyway.

Young is playing well, and looks very explosive off the line. Smooth catching the ball in stride, too.

Would’ve liked to see how he’d be complimenting McKinley and Skorownek this year.

They all said that ND is in if they win out regular season regardless of what happens in the conference championship game. Florida winning out beating ‘Bama in the SEC championship game could be problematic though.

OSU sitting undefeated with FL, Bama, Clemson and ND at 1 loss - Bama in that scenario has to be out as they’d be the only one who hasn’t beat one of the other imo.

Very questionable officiating early on in the VT-Miami.

VT threw for a 1st down on 3rd and 2, but it was undone because the officials claim there was an injury and the play never occurred, but no whistle.

My gut says we'll have Bama and OSU undefeated. I just can't see FL beating Bama, or Wiscy beating OSU... So two spots gone.

ACC is getting one or 2 spots. If ND wins out, that's obvious. If Clemson wins out, that's obvious. Even if Clemson loses another close one, they could still get consideration. If ND loses a close one in the ACC-C, we should get in. If we get blown out, we gone.

PAC is hard to figure. Oregon and USC both have cake walks to the PAC-C. One will likely go undefeated, but their resumes will still be poor. A one loss ND (close loss) is still stronger than an undefeated PAC champ.

G5 - undefeated Cinci and BYU will get strong consideration, even against an undefeated PAC winner. I think both would be favored vs USC and Oregon now.

Others -
TAMU got blown out by Bama. That's a bad loss. They'd need to hope for the PAC-C winner to have one loss. And I don't think they get in over an undefeated Cinci or BYU either. They simply need a lot of things to fall their way.

Young is playing well, and looks very explosive off the line. Smooth catching the ball in stride, too.

Would’ve liked to see how he’d be complimenting McKinley and Skorownek this year.

I'd love to have him right now. Inside or outside.

IU up 14-0 in the 1Q...
Early, but handling their business.
I was afraid they might look ahead to OSU.

IU, despite 2 INTs, is up 24-0 over MichSt...

I wonder if Allen, despite his contract extension last year, get's looked at for some bigger jobs. Even with the raise and extension, he's still one of the lower paid coaches in the B10.

He's improved their recruiting considerably. IU, while I'd love to see him stay and succeed, is a stepping stone job. I remember when Allen coached under Dullaghan at Ben Davis.

Is Indiana for real? They're sure looking legit so far.

They've always had years here and there with a good O. The D looks to be improved this year. Getting lots of turnovers.

It could all fall apart quickly though. Next game is @ OSU. Then vs an improved Maryland with lil' bro, then @ Wiscy, then vs PU which could go either way. They'll be lucky to go 2-2 IMO. If they do better than that, I'll be very impressed.

If they win comfortably today, I suspect Vegas will put tOSU in as a 10/10.5 favorite. The hype will be in full force. tOSU will be well aware of IU’s success. Nothing against 9Windiana but I’d take the Bucks & the points in a heartbeat.
