This honestly should be a tight game. UNC's team isnt the same as last year and ND is basically returning the same team. This could be one of those games where the Irish catch them early because they haven't had time to gel as a team yet.

I'm holding out hope.

Not real optimistic about this game. Hopefully we look better, but I just wasn't impressed by our exhibition games. Really hope I'm wrong. Not saying we're going to the Final Four, but watching the top 4 teams play last night, it's going to be a wide open, wild year. It would be neat for ND to be a part of it.

Oh well, hard part is that wasn't bad defense on a good portion of those possessions. Sometimes teams get hot. And sometimes teams hit 7 straight shots I guess.

Feel better about this team and this year now. I have faith Mooney will play better. And not every team has the #1 pick.

Edit: This UNC team is as good as the Duke team I watched yesterday.
