Jumping into the conversation late. Just want to add my 2 cents on the season. While we did lose a good amount of productivity from last years team in both sides of the ball, these kids that kelly recruits do not concern me from an inexperience standpoint like past coaching staffs have. I attribute this to 2 things. 1, the strong coaching staff in place. These guys are developing talent at a depth I haven't seen at ND, I am 26. My second reason is these younger kids are so athletic and they are ball players. There isn't this sense of oh I am a freshman so I shouldn't expect to contribute. No, these kids are pushing each other and the seniors are having to earn their spots with each new recruiting class. Competition is a great thing. While we are sitting here discussing nc state, those games aren't much of a concern anymore because we finally have superior depth that I think this team can beat anyone if they play for 4 quarters. 2014 was a fluke due to a crazy amount of injuries to key pieces.
