Something that was brought up in a podcast and has me thinking is this: There are countless exceptions, but BK seems to prefer experience over raw talent. With that said, does anyone project ESB taking CRob's spot or Hunter/Sanders taking Amir's spot? I've heard multiple people say that CRob has been just "meh" (he certainly had some great catches last season, but also had some pretty bad drops)...meanwhile, ESB seems to be really impressing the coaches and onlookers. The same can be said about Amir vs the younger Hunter and Sanders. On the defensive side, you have Crawford working with the 1s at the position most of us pegged Farley to hold down.

Do you guys think BK will play these younger guys? Or is this coach speak/motivational jargon?

My personal guess is the older guys. My reasoning being, yes BK loves talent, but he loves a combo of talent AND KNOWLEDGE more. Consistency and doing what needs to be done will win out.

From my brain: Seems to be more leaders on this team then years past. For example, BK mentions leaders this year, however, in years past, he has always seemed to challenge people to be a leader. That's a good sign IMO.

Seems that camp is being refined this year. Back up QB's are being thrown in live and more Frosh seem to be getting opportunities. Is this BK maturing or possibly a Sanford influence.

Coaching staff seems to be pretty solid. I just really like Sanford there, BK's mention of Lyght and Denson as being good, Bogs incessantly hyping Gilmore, Harry's success since he stepped on campus, the experience of Quinn and Elliot (Bogs would and probably has called them mad scientists in a back room creating strategic advantages). Just a warm fuzz about this staff.

The Kool-Aid is green, chilled, and looking pretty darn good right about now.

Highlights from today. Chris Brown's grab at 1:20 is nasty. I have no idea what his ceiling is this season, but I'd love to see him challenge Fuller as the #1 receiver. He seems like he has the physical tools, just needs to produce on Saturdays.
