I've seen nothing indicating that either we lead for Hilliard or he's ready to commit to anybody. We are in a decent position with him but I don't have the expectation that he'll be one of the next guys in the 2015 class.

Yeah, Hilliard is going to be a tough pull. Michigan, Iowa, tOSU, and ND are all in heavy pursuit. Then you factor in some SEC heavy hitters including BAMA. Gonna be a battle.

As far as I'm concerned staff has already locked up 3 elite guys in Tillery, Hoge and Barnett. Excellent job early as we lead for another big one in Cornell. Hopefully Barnett can help make this class really special with him commiting so early.

Also a FYI, per Wiltfong a couple days ago the staff is happy with just Barnett in this class.

With Tillery and Barnett committing this early this class is looking very good. Those are two big time recruits.

This is a great start for sure. My question is, who is gonna be the RB or RB's in this class? I love the combo of TF and GB but, gotta keep em coming in droves. Would be sweet to land a stud WR too with Barnett on board.

One of you is talking about Cornell, and the other, Hoge. Use names - it's clears up confusion.

Michigan is real competition for Cornell.

ND is way out in front for Hoge.

Its still early, but there are not any names that two positions that stand out yet. Meaning they are elite and have serious interest in ND. Its still early, I know, and I think the Barnett commitment will help that.

Good point, Barnett committing early opens the door to lots of opportunities. I am so pumped up for next years class and there are still great things to happen for this years!

Thoughts on Darrin Kirkland Jr? Top 10 ILB in the country, 169 in the initial Rivals 250, best player in Indiana.. He visited OSU three times, Michigan twice and never been at ND.

Kind of surprised we have not offered. However, it's still early, and usually the staff sends out a shit ton of offers during the spring.
