So why not move Gardner back to WR, he's already had significant success there, and hand Morris the O? As a bonus, you get the kind of trick play potential that gives Charlie Weis tears of joy.

I think they call that "a decided schematic advantage."

2015 is definitely going to be "the year." Great players/Experience at every position. Schedule is relatively easy compared to 2014. Playoffs or bust.

14-0 is my win prediction for 2014.

Does everyone think Daniels will return for his 5th year? He had an outside shot of going to the NFL this year; next year, there is very little holding him back. Golson could help him put up big numbers and he will have his degree in hand. Daniels will be the Tuitt of the next off-season in my opinion; will he stay or will he go?

This - 1000%!!! I just hope the masses can see beyond what will likely be another good (not great) season in 2014, knowing that it's all about getting the youngins the time and experience for 2015.

If Daniels gets 1000yds next year, which he should, I have a hard time seeing him come back. He'll already have his degree.

At the risk of overreacting to the Niklas news, is there anyone that wouldn't sign up for a 9-3 regular season if our losses were to FSU, Stanford, and anyone but Michigan or USC?

5 years, 1 National Championship Appearance and 4 mediocre bowls. It's probably what will happen but it sucks. The playoff makes things different but another year with an average bowl game? Will 2015 be the year?

9-3 will easily get us the Orange bowl next year, as long as its not one of the playoff slots-- I'm not sure whether it is. So I wouldn't call that a mediocre bowl if that is the case.

Honestly if I had to bet, I'd probably put money on a 7-5 regular season unless Golson has a phenomenal year. 8 wins if we dont pull the annual wtf game, I would be ecstatic winning 9 with our schedule. Just seems like its gonna be a rough year.

My guess is 9-3. Great team but the schedule just looks too tough. 2012 could happen again, but I just don't see where the leadership is coming from.

Yes. :) Fucking yes.

2014 will be a good year too. EG makes the difference of two losses.

10 - 2 is my vote.

It is that "wtf" loss that I'm worried about.

8 or 9 wins, IMO.

Schedule is brutal and the front seven is a rebuilding job.[/QUOTE]

Yeah, that is my concern too. A plug in the middle is what we need.

Schedule, true ND like, is brutal...and always front loaded. Initially we're not just playing the ACC...no, the best they have to offer. Is FSU our new rival?

All good. Just win. Fielding an 85 man roster is a nice start.
