Why can't Scotland be in our time zone? lol. I hate being up at 6am, but these are the sacrifices I make for my love of this great game.

Who are everyone's picks for this week?
I personally am going for my boy Phil. If there's ever been a time for him to win an Open it is now on this course.I think you'll see Tiger truly contend but come up just short on Sunday.

Really hope Tiger is on his game. Whether he wins or not, if he is in contention, it makes it exciting. Rory is having a terrible 1st round. Just got a Birdie to get back to +4 and playing the tougher back 9 right now.

Zach should've won last week but couldn't close the deal. Jordan Spieth was your man, and with the win, earned his tour card, jumped to like 11th in FedEx, and gained entry into the Open Championship.

Yeah, Johnson, Spieth and David Hearn. Hearn had several chances to close deal and blew it. I think it was fate as Spieth holed out from bunker to post -19 in regulation. Golf is fickle game.

Rory has to be the worst spokesman on the planet. Is their any question that Nike makes the worst golf clubs on the planet? Tiger aside, I've needed heard of anyone who plays well with them: professional or not. I've met people who spent good money on expensive irons and sold them a month or two later.

Agree, I've heard nothing but bad things about Nike clubs. Now it's mental for Rory. He's out there worried about his club performance and confidence has plummeted. Golf is hard enough even when you're dialed in!

As an early riser, it's absolutely awesome to have this on at 4am here in California. I spent 15 minutes longer on the treadmill today watching golf. If I could get the NFL or the NCAA to have 4am football games, I'd be in great shape.

Also an early riser, plus my daughter woke up at 4:30 Friday, and I couldn't go back to sleep so I watched Tiger's entire round. I always love the British Open for that very reason. Living on eastern standard time has been a HUGE adjustment for me because I wake up early in the morning and have to wait until 12 to watch college football...totally sucks!

Disappointed that they are teeing off so late today (the leaders)...for some reason I thought they were teeing off at 6 our time. I'll be at church for their early portion of the round, and then with my wife working an orientation all day, I'll be trying to watch while playing with my daughter all day. Rooting for Tiger...

I am in agreement with you. I think a darkhorse here(as much as I HATE him) is Sergio Garcia. At 3 over, he is in the hunt if he can post a score of -4 or -5(on the day, obviously). That said, I think Tiger shoots a 68 and wins in a playoff.
