Hopefully he is doing this to gain experience in the interview process. I've known guys to do interviews just to gain that type of experience.

On the off chance he does leave for BC, I will lose a bit of faith in the NCG game.

I highly doubt he would leave before NCG.

Boston College Football Coaching Search: Notre Dame DC Bob Diaco To Interview - BC Interruption

Says Diaco will interview for BC job in the next few days. Not what I reallly want to hear, but you know he deserves a shot at a Head Coaching job if he desires.

Maybe thats the point of the interview? Give him leverage with contract raise/bonus.

Regardless i believe our whole staff should be considered to have raises. I would like to keep this staff intact.

don't like this one bit. BC program is in shambles right now and ND has the makings of going on a serious run here. i realize there are a ton of openings all over the place, but BC shouldn't be the landing spot.

"If" he leaves and thats a big if, Kelly will find a great replacement. I also dont think it will be too big of a distraction.

Hypocrite. If he's gonna make the sour-grapes implication that since Manti chose ND over BYU he must not take his faith seriously, then Mendenhall had better stay at BYU for his whole career.

Its the NCG if he gets the job at BC he will still coach in the game. That is great press for BC.
