He's following Wiltfong around today. He just recently started with OU/247 I think, all his CB's for the 2019 class came in the past week. Hopefully he had some prior relationship with OU recruiting at his previous gig and knows Raym well.

Regardless (or irregardless here on IE), can't hate the pick.

We will see how this goes. Not sure the pick is legit based off Crus' intel.

Just watched his film. Can't teach that kind of desire in a kid. He wants to bury anyone and everyone he gets his hands on. Good thing for an OC/OG. Didn't like the pass pro too much. Still relying on just being meaner, bigger, and stronger than the opponent. Could get caught lunging at guys I suspect. That said, I'm always in favor of getting guys in here that want to drive block like that.

Got an OU CB from an OU analyst today.

That's 3-1 OU over ND. 2 OU analysts + Demetric Warren vs Wiltong's ND.

Interview after last Friday's game. Notre Dame was not mentioned. Planning on visiting Michigan for the UM-PSU game on 11/3/18. Visiting Georgia for Georgia-Georgia Tech game on 11/24/18

He did say in the interview that he is trying to make some trips to places that he hasn't been to before.

It looked like he was going to visit Michigan this past summer for the BBQ, but ultimately changed plans and visited OU and Arkansas instead.

He has visited ND already, but I'm kind of disappointed that we aren't in the list of schools that he feels are recruiting him the hardest.

ISD freebie offering some insights as to some 2020 Offensive Recruits
https://irishsportsdaily.com/s/7562/2020-offensive-outlook

The Oklahoma native took an unofficial visit to Notre Dame last fall and it seemed to make a strong impression until Raym committed to the in-state Sooners a month later. But Raym re-opened his process, backing off that verbal pledge, this spring and Notre Dame offered the very next day. It almost seemed like the Irish offer might have been one of the reasons for his decommitment. Either way, Oklahoma is still firmly in the mix and he told us the Irish and Sooners were “probably” his top two schools. He’s talked about wanting to get back to South Bend while he was able to get to Norman for a visit last fall and is expected to be at LSU this weekend. Michigan and Oklahoma State have also been considered possible contenders.

Nope. honestly the only OL in 2020 I feel even close to good about is Pyne. Outside that I know Carmody wants an offer. My PSU connect basically said PSU is his first choice right now, unless ND offers.

Not at this time. I don't really like the board much in general. This is why I think you'll see your boy Tosh Baker get an offer soon. I'd assume of the non offered targets, the staff may wait until they all get back to campus before offers go out. Seems pretty obvious he was singled out with that early visit. I'd assume more offers will have to go out.

It's hard to tell where things stand with Raym, pretty quiet, doesn't publicize much. He's visited LSU, Michigan, ND and Georgia over the last month+ and he tweeted out absolutely nothing about any of those visits.

Found this pic though. Quenton Nelson reincarnated.

His spot will be gone. I think / I hope.

Yea, I was thinking the same thing. OL tends to be done fairly early, this class looks no different. Not sure he'll fall into the BPA category come next fall. Heck, I'm not sure if there will even be space for a BPA next fall, lol.

Baker, Rosengarten, Christ, Skoronski?

That's my 4 being greedy but I doubt ND can land all 3 OT's. You just don't see 3 top shelf OT's going in the same class. That's why you tend to think, 2 pure OT's, a Zak Zinter-ish swing and an OG/C like Skoronski. Atteberry's in that mix too for sure.

As for Skoronski, I like him not only on the field but that he's a Catholic kid from Chicagoland and doesn't have any legacy problems with dad being a Yale grad. Grampa's Packer history and his family's long history with Wisconsin worried me if the Badgers got involved early on but it's clear he's going top shelf with ND, NW and Tree as the assumed leaders.

I was hoping ND would jump into the Jonah Monheim sweepstakes but then the he went Double Live Gonzo at the LA camps and he's not Crusader's little secret any longer. He got 25 offers since the mid Jan. with Bama, Aub, Utah, TCU, K State, MSU, AZ PSU & Wash coming in the past 2 weeks. Love his film, love them Ivy offers.

247 didn't raise his rating. Either that was a rare miss by Biggins or the mothership didn't listen to him.

As long as ND gets Baker I'm a happy. I'm not sold on rosengarten and christ. I like Pete Skoronoski and Zinter. I like Carmody as a pure LT.

247 moved Atterberry to center. I think that's a perfect fit for him in college. Just have to wonder if he wants to sit behind Zeke.

On that note, OSU brought in Harry Miller last year so not much difference. As of the start of Spring camp, everybody on ND's depth chart is behind Patterson who has 4 years of eligibility left. I'm sure the staff is recruiting him as an inside OL so some flexibility there.

247: Three-star OL Jonah Monheim has numerous offers to choose from

"I'm going around, across the nation, and I know for sure we're visiting Cal, Stanford, Michigan, Notre Dame, Alabama, Clemson, Auburn and Oklahoma. Then there could be some other visits too."

???

What took this guy so long to re-commit? Strange.

The Sooners are building a sneaky great OL class:

Committed:
Nate Anderson
Raym
Noah Nelson

Lead for:
Jonah Monheim
Brady Ward

Raym, Monheim & Skoronski at IL's would've been my dream trio in 2020.
