That would be incorrect. All sites had updates and the staff seemingly did a great job with him and his mother while on campus. He's going to commit on his mothers Bday in July and as of today ND seems to be the clear leader.

Texas offers.

Johnson is regarded as the top prospect in the state of Missouri, according to 247sports composite rankings. The four-star recruit holds well over 20 offers from programs such as Alabama, Florida, LSU, Ohio State, Penn State, and Texas A&M.

Notre Dame is currently considered to be the frontrunner.

Johnson’s Texas offer came just a couple days after fellow Saint Louis (Mo.) prospect, Trinity Catholic wide receiver Mookie Cooper, decided to decommit from the Horns after making a verbal pledge just weeks ago while visiting the Forty Acres for junior day.

Before his decision he’ll be on campus for another UV and OV. Should be a visit advantage for ND at that point.

I read somewhere that his OV on the 5th is a 3 day, 2 night affair like Rylie Mills. Bauman and Mayer will be there that weekend also along with all of the other '20 OV's

So he was in LA before SL. I know I've read multiple articles (it's been a while) talking about his, or at minimum, his families ties back to Ark. Maybe it was just something like his dad went there or something. I'm half brain dead today with allergies.

Definitely. Wiltfong CBs still hold weight. Loy seemed to ride the coat tail of Wiltfong, now it seems reversed.

As long as they land Johnson, the rest of WR class is just gravy. I think if we are learning anything from this Spring, it's that the Freshman class of WR is competing very well right now. Get the "elite" #1 WR in Johnson and we should be good to go.
