Update on the December 5th timeline I posted. Kid is blowing up and continues to blow up. Hats off to Crus! At this point he has almost every single big offer outside of Clemson, Georgia, Florida, Texas, Texas A&M and Penn State. I think this kid's rankings are going to see a monumental boost. He'll also probably have an opportunity to head to some exposure camps in the spring and summer to show off his talents. Everybody wants him so I hope ND can get him for the first weekend of OV's in April and can shut it down before he becomes a 5 star!

Here's what he's going on. Baker and '21 OT Blake Fisher are close. I'd like to say they knew each other when the Bakers' lived in Indy but I can't confirm that. A lot of retweets/tweets between the two. Fisher calls Baker "Boa".

I can say that I talk with a recruiting industry guy here in AZ who follows this board closely and he's 100% convinced Baker will commit to ND sooner than later.

God I hope he or just anyone commits soon. Getting ancy over here!

To clarify, are those the dates he received each of those offers?

Those are the dates he received those offers. He’s received 23 offers in 3 & 1/2 months which is crazy. He’ll get an Andrew Kristofic bump and be a 4* in no time. So consider him a big time prospect.

September 29 - Crusader puts us on the scent and welcomes us to his scouting find
September 30 - video of Bralen Trice vs. Tosh Baker released
October 11 - UCLA
October 15 - Arizona State
November 1 - Utah
November 30 - Oklahoma
December 1 - Oklahoma State
December 3 - Arizona
December 3 - Northwestern
December 3 - Duke
December 4 - Nebraska
December 5 - Washington State

Kid is blowing up. He should stuff Trice’s stocking for Christmas cause that game seemed like a kickstarter for the kid getting going in the offer department. He’s on pace to have 40 offers by Christmas. I think with a 4.35 GPA and his talent, there isn’t a limit to the number of offers he might get. Curious to see how involved BD gets, I sure hope they do.

FIFY, I worked the game. I dropped the 411 in the Trice thread.

Mark me down in the... Hope Foskey commits and/or Offer Tosh Baker categories.

Trice had 4 tkl's, 0 for loss.

Got one good hit on Rattler where he beat Baker but Rattler stood and delivered a strike to the pylon where an O'Conner DB committed pass interference to save a TD.

Besides that he had just 2 plays where he got a lil pressure but the LT forced him too deep and Rattler stepped up and easily avoided him.

Pinnacle ran at him 13 times. He had 2 tkls in those attempts and most times he was swallowed up by the LT and couldn't get off the block.

Most troubling, he has a bad motor in pursuit which is a big no no for a DROP. The ONE time he gave 100% in pursuit he actually caught Rattler before he got out of bounds... and committed a horse collar that gave Pinnacle a first down in the red zone. I do believe he has the physical ability because he was close to the play a lot but an Okwara type DE could have made an additional 6-7 plays.

He showed just two rush moves with no counters. Chop the hands and go around the outside or drop the shoulder on the inside in a bull rush trying to hit the gap (never worked). Starting outside and w/ a swim inside would have been the ticket because Rattler was stepping up into the pocket to pass or to take off through a hole (he had over 100 yds on scrambles, 0 designed runs).

So what I took away from this game is:

If you like Trice, offer this guy yesterday because he was an iron curtain last night:

Got the Stanford offer today. This was an offer he was waiting for. His best friend called the offer "The dreamer".

Here's the list of offers since ND's back on Dec 15th:

SC
Mich
Cal
Ore
IU
Bama
OSU
Aub
LSU
Wash
Pur
Colo
A&M
Vandy
Tex
Stan
UNC

Funny response to his offer announcement... One of his asst. coaches at Pinnacle is a MI fan (his QB next year is JD Johnson and he's already committed to MI)
Coach calls Stanford the "Holy Grail of offers" Funny a Michigan fan would admit that and since when did Stanford get holy? The only thing <strike>holy</strike> wholey about Stanford is the stadium, as in... The wholey stadium was empty.

So does he go to the tree?

I like the fact he lived in Indy before AZ and Blake Fisher and him are tight. Fisher it seems has ND at the top of his board (and he interviews like an RKG bullseye). If Fisher pops early, that's only a positive for ND. Locally, everyone I know who interacts with the programs thought ND was way out front before his latest run of offers.

We'll see what happens. ND needs him more than Stanford but Stanford is really strong here in AZ for players they want and kill it with no brainer OT's. I'll shat a brick if they land Walker Little, Walter Rouse and Tosh Baker in a row.

As for other schools, Michigan has to be watched because of his QB, Oklahoma got last year's QB, Washington's OL coach grew up 5 minutes from Baker and was there the night he owned Trice (who he signed), SC's '19 QB lives 5 minutes away too. Bama/OSU offered too and may get destination visits.

Just an FYI from listening to the BGI Podcast. 2-3 seems to be the number for the OL at ND in this cycle, but that could change based on the top tier of targets they are recruiting. As an example, they said if some how they were to get commitments from Christ, Skoronski, and Zinter then that wouldn't preclude them from recruiting Tosh Baker. Some of their OLine targets are takes no matter the number, but for now I think the ideal number is 3.

.9791 4* Tosh Baker - AZ - FAR - 12/15/18 & 3/30/19
.9685 4* Andrew Gentry - CO - FAR - 12/15/19 & 4/6/19
.9207 4* Zak Zinter - MA - FAR - 9/8/18 & 3/23/19
.9157 4* Peter Skoronski - IL - 2h - 4/21/18 & 9/8/18 & 3/2/19
.8976 3* Jimmy Christ - VA - FAR - 11/4/17 & 4/6/19
.8944 3* Reece Atteberry - CO - FAR - 2/23/19 & 6/22/19

First off, I eliminated some guys here. Turner Corcoran has a top 3 of Oklahoma, Ohio State, and Nebraska and will likely end up at one of those. ND made his top 7 but doesn't appear to have any contact with him and no visit is even being thought about as far 247 & BGI know. Chad Lindberg closed the door on visiting and will likely stay home in Texas. Andrew Raym is likely recommitting to Oklahoma soon and hasn't shown any sign of interest in ND in a long long time. Kevin Pyne wasn't a take according to the BGI Podcast and ND doesn't think he's ahead of any of the guys listed above on their board so they don't mind him going to BC. Geirean Hatchett's interest in ND has faded which is a shame because of the effort put in, but I think he stays on the west coast and likely Washington when all is said and done. Roger Rosengarten had some issues on his visit and I'm not sure if it is him or the school or the staff that didn't work, but that recruitment is over for ND. Jake Wray visited Oregon & Utah recently, but has pretty much restarted his recruitment after decommitting and seeing his rankings plummet. I am not 100% on this, but I am pretty sure he's not being recruited by Notre Dame right now.

That leaves 6 uncommitted, offered guys who ND is actively recruiting and getting on campus this spring. Tosh Baker is the number 1 dude and that has been agreed upon by many many different recruiting services. Baker made it to ND this weekend and picked up an ND CB from Kevin Sinclair which is fantastic news. Hopefully he schedules an official visit soon or just commits to ND, but regardless of those plans, ND has put themselves in a really good spot. Andrew Gentry is an interesting case because it seems like he'll be going on his mormon mission and going to BYU or Utah, but he's still scheduled to officially visit Notre Dame this weekend. Not too sure if this is the staff recruiting him for 2022, trying to convince him to move to 2020 and commit to ND, or if it will get cancelled some time this week because the staff realizes he's not a realistic option. He's a big time prospect, but the mormon mission is a hurdle for ND I believe. My personal ideal class along with many others on the board would be Tosh Baker, Jimmy Christ, and Peter Skoronski. Zak Zinter would be a nice addition and Reece Atteberry would be too seeing that Ohio State is recruiting him so heavily, but I really like Skoronski and I think for the interior ND could use him well. Either way I'd be really happy with Baker and then just about any other 2 guys that are willing to jump on board.

I hope he's back in June at ND!

To?

Edit: NVM. I see he’s 100% CB’d to the good guys including Wiltfong this afternoon. Coming right off visits to Stanford and UCLA that is rather excellent news.

ND's looking real good for their top OLine targets! It is a good thing too because if they weren't able to hit on their top dudes this cycle then I'm not sure who'd be left for them to target on their offer board. Many of their offered targets have moved on or committed to different schools. My guess is if ND didn't land their 4 guys from the top 5 dudes here then they'd throw out a few more offers, but I think ND has a genuinely good chance to land all of the top 4 dudes with Jimmy Christ being the first to pull the trigger hopefully next week if reports are true.
