I think most Buckeye analysts expected him to pop this past weekend (or shortly after) on his official visit to pOSU. pOSU is very stingy with their OV's during the spring, and are only given if they expect a decision before this summer.

Hopefully we get through this week without any news.

With the Buckeyes running a 4-3, are they recruiting him at DE or OLB?

Cade needs to play for the Tree. He's the prototype for a big 3-4 OLB in Palo Alto

Please no, lol.

Part of the reason I brought that up. I think he's a better fit for a 3-4 ROLB role.

My impression is that Cade likes the smaller campus at ND and obviously has sincere interest in ND. We are different. Cade seems to get that.

However, Cade has previously stated that he wants to major in Agribusiness or Animal Science with the goal of taking over the family farm someday. If that's still the plan, it would seem highly unlikely that we can overtake pOSU, considering they have lots of options and we basically have none.

The kid is going to Urbana or College Station

I've had a revelation.

BK needs to start "Agricultural Life Wednesdays." Bring in guest speakers to talk about agriculture and animal issues. I bet the recruits will just eat that up.

Every foot of land between Cade's front door and South Bend-Mishawaka is a corn or bean field. How ironic.

Two bales of hay. Come on, bro...Boudreaux moved a bus. I will say out of the 4 commits offered by ND who committed this weekend (Amari Knight-Bama, Adam Berghorst-MSU, Cade Stover-OSU, Garrett Wilson-OSU), this Stover loss is the toughest. ND was on the outside looking in on all 4 recruitments so it's not a shock at all, but still tough to lose a potential Drop candidate to the Bucks. Good luck to the kid.

Would have been nice to land him and John Dirksen could have translated for him but ya can't be upset losing a kid to Tractor Tech when he actually gets in a tractor during his commitment vid.

If only they were a John Deere fam, the green woulda got him! But props out for having a Challenger. Murica!

Good luck to this Cade!
