If he can play drop I say take him.because he is versatile. Rather have Josiah miamen because of his speed though

Yeeeeeeep. With Ekwonu, Henrich, Kiser, and Lytle all as leans, there's really no need to lock this one down.

Being recruited at a different position than all of those guys. He's being considered for WDE/Drop.

Is he a good complement to Nana?

Personally, I'd like to see a focus on speed/quickness with our next addition. That's why I'm so high on DiCosmo. But, even if DiCosmo isn't in the cards, I'd rather get a high upside project to pair with Nana. More than likely, unless they are really good, the #2 Drop in this class will have time to prepare for the college game.

Interestingly enough, I think Eich is better a HS prospect than some LB's we currently have on our roster. Just not sure he's better than the group we're looking to add this cycle.

When he's a 255 lb All-B1G DE at Michigan St, don't come crying to me.

One thing I've learned from following recruiting is, simply, do not pass on a good player. "A bird in the hand" applies.

I agree but if we can fill the class and get him right before NSD that would be best

most definitely, you can slow play, even let him soft-commit to a Big10 school and then even a week out from NSD decide if you want him or not.

dicosmo is more of what we are looking for at his position...cosmo def likes michigan and we get our shot coming up....if we don't gain ground in his recruitment then as others said, he is someone we can swing back around on...UNLESS he feels he wanted to be needed more and chooses a school that continued to recruit him hard...but with brother here, education...im sure it would be tough to pass up if offered down the road

Well, I certainly wouldn't do that under any circumstances, lol. And let me be clear that I like the player. I think he's a better prospect than some players we have on our roster. However, for the Drop position, which is what I was responding to, I'd pursue others for a little while longer before offering and taking his commitment.

However, what I would be down with, is offering him as a LB. Give him one of the seemingly 3 spots at that position. Then figure it later. If he truly turns into a high quality DE option you move him there. LB numbers will be fine. If not, you put him at MLB and I think he's an upgrade to some of the players currently there.

I think if Tommy wasn't Liam's brother....there would be very little discussion going on!

you push david adams and drew white off the roster somehow then i'll happily take Tommy over them both right now.

Brian Dohn CB'd him to BC and 5 others followed including one of the Ohio St guys who had him to ND before.

Whatever, Tommy was already voted Most Flippable by his HS Yearbook.

If we get Tristan Sinclair then he may be a good drop candidate. If we don't land another LB I say take him and he could be a Mike or buck
