Visiting Saturday for Stanford. #1 player in Indiana in the Class of '19. Plays at Sheldon Day's HS. #1 team in Indiana now and historically the state's greatest program. Read that OSU was his favorite team growing up.

ISD reported that he grew up a fan of both OSU and ND. I sure hope that they're right.

Ohio St still hasn't offered. I'd be "neg recruiting" their bucknuts off.

Hey David, you aren't even in their Top 10, hell... you aren't officially on their board.

He needs to respect their decision, commit to ND and build the 2019 class around himself.

Scouts #8 WR, #56 overall. Up to 6-2, 185.

Because he's at Friday Night lights?

I looked at the talent in Columbus tonight and then I looked at what we had for the Irish Invasion and then I laughed to myself when some say they don't want Urban to ever come back and I also realized why OSU is in the playoff discussion every single year and we aren't.

Only reason I make that comparison is we seem to go head to head vs OSU a lot and offer a lot of the same kids. The talent gape is so wide as well where Houston Griffith would be the best corner prospect heck safety prospect we've landed since Max Redfield and OSU completely passed on him

No because of the sum total of everything I've ever read about Bell.

And Derrik Allen is better than Griffith as a safety prospect. Griffith's rating as a CB is fool's gold because he's never gonna stick there.

You can think that but people who do this for a living have Griffith rated higher as a prospect so that's why I said Griffith. I also think Allen is a better prospect

Well then you can think that too I guess. lol

The problem with this industry is there are a lot of 2 star analysts grading kids. People who have no eye for physical talent.

And if they reclassified Griffith to safety where he will play in college he would drop just like Allen has since he was a Top 5 CB early on.

Derrik Allen has the highest floor of just about anyone in this class. Will he be a FS, SS or a Rover? He simply can't fail.

Winning cures all. Once we start winning some games this year we'll start to get interest from guys we're not talking about right now.

What is your point? You are crazy if you think Urban would get all those kids at ND.

Austin Mack I thought was completely overrated. I think he would have been a good cultural fit at ND but ND got better WR's in that class with Stepherson and Claypool and they are proving it on the field + ND still has the star of the class, Von McKinley to add to the '16 haul when he breaks out next season. Mack will not be missed unless there's some crazy bad luck with injuries.

David Bell is going to be harder to replace. He's a real Top 10 talent but from the first interview of his I heard, I gave ND a 1% chance of landing him. I try to be upbeat when I post stuff but as a former athlete from Indiana I can tell you there is a cultural disconnect between a lot of Indiana recruits and ND... and elite Indy athletes love to get out of state, even for basketball when IU and Purdue are at the top of the polls.

2019 looks good so far for all positions except WR. They only have 4 offers out and basically no chance at any of them.

Maybe Bell won't academically qualify for tOSU, allowing ND to get back in the recruiting picture with Bell.

Yup, Bell was described as a big OSU fan from the very beginning

I've only ignored 3 people ever, none for pure foolishness. Congrats on blazing a new trail.

Now would be a really good time for DelVaughn Alexander to get used to the Saint Louis International Airport and the Nashville International Airport. There are 8 big time WR prospects that are a close drive from those two cities. That's an insane concentration of talent in those areas. Plus, Tennessee is in disarray so now is the time to get into the living rooms of those prospects. Hopefully some offers go out real soon to WR's cause the board is tiny right now.
