Wiltfong's out in LA for the Adidas 7v7 NC. Not sure Waston is there, thought another GA team made it. He obviously heard something big to throw a CB during the tourney. Thi popped up this morning on twitter, no idea what' behind the wall on this one.

I’ll wait for the OV’s before throwing in the towel. And though I’m higher on Watson than most. Our DB board looks pretty good. Especially when you consider last years haul.

I agree about our CB board but it still stings. They threw in a few CBs to UT for nana too

Yea, this is recruiting. That’s how it goes. A big time home state program throws all they got at him and the most recent visit. I’m sure they have some momentum. Why are we so damn surprised by this. Did we really think they’d just give up, or that he would hate his visit?

Now it’s ND’s turn to get him on campus.

This one doesn't bother me one iota.

Watson is a tweener like Griffith that I think project better to S.

ND is stocked with a young, talented group at CB/S.

If they end up with just Wallace & Ajavon I'd be ok. They lead for Turner-Muhammad and are in as good of a position for Hamilton as any and there's still Nick Cross. 2 CB's or 2 safeties is a luxury in this class.

So Kenyatta's Dad likes to tweet out this below when one off his Grayson players commits. He did it this morning before 3* LB Allen Smith committed to UNC. About an hour ago he tweeted it again. If Kenyatta's not coming, I hope it's him so all can move on.

Hopefully we are still in contact with Brian Williams because if the ND D does well and the A&M D does badly you would think he is going to question his commitment.

Looks like the quote of him taking an official to Notre Dame in May was untrue. Only saving grace to this recruitment is if this dude surprisingly shows up to ND this weekend cause next weekend he's at Texas and he decides two days after that OV. Tough L on the trail.

I cared, then I thought it through based on need and didn't... and then he did The Opening and I cared (a lot) again.

Uber elite physical talent BUT he was coming in as a DB that would've gotten a sniff at CB and then moved to safety. He must be ok with that because his final two schools don't need him at CB... actually neither's secondary is a position of need. But make no mistake, everybody needs that ceiling. If Hamilton joins LA, that will be fine but Watson & Nick Cross were top of the food chain when it come to athleticism.

The thing is is that he is good, but not as good as any of the DB's Texas took last year. he is gonna sit.

I don't see him playing a lot of CB for UT but if he can focus that athletic ability at Safety, watch out.

Texas is pretty clearly the favorite, and ND had/has other safety prospects to focus on once it became clear that Watson was probably Texas bound.

No use in expending further time when there are other guys still undecided.
