By looking at his offer list, academics definitely won't be an issue. Tom Loy put him down as the best bet to get an offer this weekend and already put in an Irish cb prediction for him today. But most importantly, First Team All-Name candidate.

After watching his tape, I hope he gets offered. His tape his impressive, but not in the same ole' 10 minute video of "catch a 5 yard slant and run passed everyone" way. For only being 16/17 years old, he has a very good sense of where he is at on the field at all times (something that ESB can't even do and he's about to be in the NFL); he showed some Antonio Brown-like ability to drag his foot on a few plays. Also, he showed the ability to cut off his route when he saw that his QB was in trouble and got open in a "backyard football" kind of way. The ability to get open on a busted play is an underrated skill IMO.

Good route runner and exceptional ball skills. Very quick feet, gets in and out of his breaks well, and I think once he gets in a college S&C his speed will improve quite a bit. Very slight build right now and that’ll take some time. Big fan. Some sick camp footage on his hudl page.

I completely agree with this assessment. his rating should be slightly higher. Did he get injured last year?

Offered. I'll throw down my Irish cb right now.

At least we can't blame foreign language on this one!

Don’t know if he was injured, but like I said competition is atrocious. It’s a private league school. Which maybe the reason for lower ranking.

It’s the same town as John Sullivan, but Sullivan was public school which is better competition. It’s the same area as Steve Young, Connor Hanratty and Khari Fortt along with Sullivan. But those mentioned were all public school league.

Silas Redd is from the same area and I think played in the private school league this kid plays in.

'19 CT WR Cornelius Johnson (Offer)

So one of my very good friends coached him in pop warner football for a few years. He also helped Cornelius’s fathers political campaign when he was running for some local government office position.

So let’s just say I have a good source on this recruitment.

And if y’all thinking I could be a bag man...family don’t need it.

Good stuff!

Any indication where he is leaning at this point?

I got good news and then some bad news.

Notre Dame would be the choice currently.

But the Father graduated from Stanford...so we are looking at a Thomas Booker situation. Only a matter of time IMO.

Side note mother went to med school at Michigan. Don’t know how much they are in play now.

If you put Stanford and Michigan in a blender, don't you get Notre Dame?

OK, OK... If you put Stanford and Michigan in a blender you get Duke basketball.

Haha. Better but Duke basketball wins a lot of nattys. I think it's more along the lines of...if you put Stanford and Michigan in a blender you just get a really shitty mixture.

I was originally talking about undergrad academics until you assaulted me.
