Maybe he’s got that new disease from a tick bite that makes you allergic to basically all meat... a friend had it, but it took them two years to figure out what was causing repeated fever and stomach issues. Once he saw a specialist and learned about it, they cut out meat experimentally, and he was almost immediately better.

Could be lyme disease. You get that from ticks. Really big in the northeast though. Also maybe it is an STD. Yikes.

Wonder if it might be one of the mosquito borne ailments? Seems more likely than ticks for a city dweller. Hope he recovers ok.

I had a tick bite on my leg that developed a red ring and I did not fuck around. Immediately went to my PCP and got on antibiotics. That ish scares me.
