Will have a huge year at OLu with the incoming transfers TE Ethan Rae and WR Kyle Ford from Servite.

Oldest brother Kelly is the starting QB at Weber St.

Older brother Tyler is the starting QB at Washington St.

Had a tought year statistically in the Trinity League playing the St John Bosco's and Mater Dei's. The league is home to between 15-20 starting P5 DB's. His Soph stats:

10 G ... 124/229 ... 1582 yds ... 54% ... 12 TD ... 8 INT ... 3 TD rushing.

Had -19 yds on 49 attempts. That's more the schedule than ability.

I wasn't a big fan of his early on but his move to Orange Lutheran really showed me what he can do against the best conference in the country and with the best receiving corp in the country. He's the type of QB that can play early if needed.

I'd be all for ND getting in on him along with Bachmeier, Shrader and Gunner Cruz. He's not as mobile as ND QB's of the recent past but BK did fine with Coach Rees and Tony Pike at UC.

Weird thing about this is they are thought to lead for the perect C-Kelly QB, Jayden Daniels. Bachmeier is a more C-Kelly type than Hilinski. If anything, Hilinski is the typical SC / Pro QB prototype.

Strange days indeed.

the Wilton Speight transfer baffles me. Gonna be interesting to see what Chip brings to Westwood. They've had a lot of position changes already in the spring. Hard for teams to game plan for them this year.
