would his spelling keep him from getting in?

Beginning to believe a lot of folks pronounce it Norta instead of the more common Noder. It's the Latin version of yall vs yins.

Visiting Saturday for the Spring Game per his 247 Timeline.

Loy calls FIRST! with the immediate CB.

Sorry, but unfortunately we cannot allow rumor such as this on the board.

It's not so much the validity of the source as it is the insinuation placed against a prospective athlete. Without hard evidence, we steer clear of hearsay that would damage a recruit's image.

'Either they juiced like crazy.. ALL of them, or their parents paid money to assistant coaches to recruit them. No other reason for them being D1 and my only offer coming from James Monroe University, 'cos we all know they cant match my hustle #nodaysoff #studentathlete #D1-ish #ballislife '
- Fightingirish26's friend, probably.

I am guessing you are leaving this up as an example to be made, however, more people have probably read his post than wouldn't have since your quoted post is still here and his got deleted.

They are both still spreading the rumor the same.

Heard that VTs spring game is this weekend as well. Got to be something there right?

You got those thinkin pants on today, Cack!

That is why Loy CB'd him essentially. If you are spurning your current program for another when both have spring games, and don't tell anyone about it, then there must be something to it.

This is a bizarre situation. I can't really fault Loy here. Wondering if there isn't more to this story. Seems quite odd.

He was committed to VT and visited ND for their spring game when VT was having theirs the same day. Anyone with half a brain makes the flip prediction to ND. Doesn't mean it always works out, because, 'crootin.

I'm hoping it's because the staff wants to hold out for a better player. I know they think they're in good shape with that Simmons safety from PA.

Shayne Simon, from New Jersey? Unless you're talking about someone else.

Really like Simon but I'm pretty sure he'll play rover if he comes. Not sure where they had Peoples slotted at.

Yes, sorry. Was slightly off on the name and location. And position. Classic.

Still think my theory is probably - that they like someone better at S. Perhaps the Michael Dowell kid from Ohio who just had his thread bumped.

well if they do they should offer him. This guy has/had an offer and Dowell does not. So based on that it would not appear they like Dowell more.

Dowell says they are recruiting him at CB. Yes I know, interesting. I see him as a faster Elijah Shumate.

It seems Jevon Holland is the top target at safety.

Julius Irvin remains interested but it sounds like more so than the Irish are. A lot of good ND connections with Oscar McBride being on the Servite staff the past few years and Irvin's father Leroy being an all time LA Ram great, just like Todd Lyght. Though I think they just missed playing together.

There's a bunch of other guys they will offer in the next few weeks if books check out like Israel Mukuamu who are exciting players.

Sounds like his previous statements to that VT reporter were more of a smoke screen than a true indication of his interest in ND. Similar to the Lorenz/Crawford situation.
