Reportedly visiting for the Spring Game per Big23Head via Scout.

That's huge if he makes it with OSU's spring game the same day and his teammate is the #1 OT in the '18 class, Jackson Carmen who is scheduled to be in Columbus Saturday.

Looks like he's going to be a great DT prospect.

Fairfield (Ohio) High four-star linebacker/defensive lineman Malik Vann added a Notre Dame offer Saturday while on campus for the spring game.

"It's a great feeling," Vann said. "Now I'm even more excited for the spring game."

247Sports ranks Vann as the nation's No. 6 inside linebacker and No. 10 recruit in Ohio in the class-of-2018.

The 6-foot-3, 245-pound Vann's offer list includes Michigan State, Kentucky, Louisville, Maryland, Pittsburgh and West Virginia. The Irish are certainly a top contender.

"The tradition and the doors it can open for me after football," Vann said. "And being on National TV every week that makes it even better!"

msu 247 report and ND's 247 report are about the same just substitute the names of schools...he reported everything is great at msu, mom likes it etc then said the same about ND

I do always feel better when an Ohio kid we offer already has an Ohio State offer, but I know I'm one born and bred Ohio boy who'd have reacted to laughter and an "lol, no" if Ohio State called me with a scholarship offer.

IDK how an OSU offer would factor in, but currently, we lead.

On considering committing to ND on the visit:

"“It definitely did cross my mind,” “I just need to take all my visits and see everything they all have to offer. I just want to be 100-percent sure when I decide. I want to check out Oregon, USC and probably Cal before I decide. I think those visits will come before I decide. We’ll see. I may not be able to get out there until after this upcoming season.”
