While sifting through Wake's '18 offers I noticed Elko offered Jarius.

With their familiarity with him plus he's got Duke offer too, you'd think they could still make a splash. He's got a handful of CB's to Louisville over Bama, Florida, MSU, Ore. SCar, Tenn.

He's not tested too often by KY WR's if he's playing 3A football.

Not a whole lot of DI talent below 5A in KY, although 3A Belfry DID have 3/5 OL take DI scholarships in the class of '17. That was absurd.

It looks like he'll be a CB. He only had 80 yards through 5 games. 5 or so other WR had more yards. I'd change it. Hard to believe he wouldn't transfer into Trinity for the comp. Him and Tahj Rice are stuck on a really crappy team in 3A. That ain't no good for development.

Hard to believe he wouldn't transfer into Trinity for the comp.

It's actually surprising that he wasn't there in the first place, after his freshman year at least. If my kid flashed anything close to elite speed as a freshman, and he's located in Louisville, I'd be getting him into Trinity, X or Male just for the big-school exposure.

I'd offer this kid right now and tell him he'd be stuck behind Russ Yeast for 3 years at Louisville... then claim that the bungling of the Yeast recruitment was part of the master plan.

Seriously, he's got a Duke offer and he's the national 55m indoor national champion. Elko offered him at WF, he's got his number...

Could this guy be the fallback option for no Kyler or no Julius? His recruitment makes absolutely no sense to me. Did he get injured badly? Do something bad? He's a consensus 4 star recruit...

Seems like a mystery as to why this incredible speedster (55M National Champ) is on the sidelines this cycle. Unless he's the DB version of NPF...
