Bama, Stanford, USC, and Michigan?

Yuck.

Looking at those 4 teams, including ND and looking at it as far as QB depth I like our chances best.

So far Stanford is having a down year and they are a run first offense.

Has anyone watched Michigan this year? Their offense is horrible I don't know why ASB would go there, not too concerned about Michigan.

Bama could be a dark horse because they are a run first offense, but when they have a #1WR they get the ball 80% of the time (Amari Cooper, Calvin Ridley).

I've said it before I think ND is in this, if all Amon-Ra wants is a chance he'll get one at ND.

I think ASB is a day one starter if he chose Notre Dame. Talent wise this kid has it all, and he comes from a football family so to me it would be near impossible to keep him off the field.

I just think we're chasing our tails here, but won't feel bad if he somehow picked the Irish.

unfortunately he says usc has the slight edge in his recruitment w/ jt daniels being his qb and heading to usc....he wants a qb who can get him the ball and he can come in and be a playmaker immediately

If SC gets Tanner McKee, it wouldn't surprise me if ASB is in the NFL before Daniels is the starter.

Tanner McKee is the Leftcoast's Phil Jurkovec.

McKee is Mormon and is planning to take a two year mission trip after completing high school. So he's 3 years away from starting his college career.

Like I said, if SC gets McKee it wouldn't surprise me if JT doesn't start until after ASB is gone. There are rumors on the street that contrary to what is in the media, the mission is not 100. He visited SC last weekend which hasn't offered, if they do it could signal the mission is off.

*edit* But thank you for bringing it up. It's a very important factor in his recruitment and I should have mentioned it.

He told Adam Gorney right after the USC visit that he is taking a two year mission so depth charts at QB don't matter to him. Mission trip is a done deal even if USC offers. He also said he will not be signing a letter of intent with any school so technically he'll be a free agent when he returns from his mission in 2020. He's a very devout Mormon.

And everything that a talking head prints is gospel. I get it, you read it so it's fact and 100% done. Carry on.

Link me your "rumors" that are reliable. Your rumors are always so reliable.

??? Link me some that are not. Sounds like there's a bunch of them.

Link me something you nailed. Like Burton being wrapped up. You're in the ATL and you had one job... but you failed. All you do is come on here and pass off paid site info like it's your opinion. I'd put you on ignore but you give away paid analyst's thoughts for free in between your trying to correct every last post... which you're miserable at btw, like this hot mess:

Etling would have never played here and wouldn't have been a fit for our offensive scheme. Latham was academics. Lee wasn't as good as other WR's we were recruiting. TE's are never an issue for us. McLaurin has basically been a special teams player at OSU. We took two Indiana LB's (Bilal, Barajas) and Coney same year as Kirkland. We simply liked those guys better. Yeast is really not an Indiana kid. Family is from Kentucky, dad played at Kentucky, most family lives in Louisville and he lived in Indiana for less than two years.

No wonder you get on most everyone's nerves.

I'd love to hear from dwshade(Darius Walker) about the 2 point conversion vs Stanford, great call by Weis.

Paid site? It was free info. So I take it you can't back up your nonsensical rumors about Tanner Mckee. Carry on with your God complex. The great Crusader is never to be doubted. And we all know you've used paid analysts info on many occasions. Too many to name.

A devout Mormon going to USC? That's not possible.

For real though, I could see him going taking one, but if he does then JT Daniels will never see the field till his senior year and redshirt senior year, so Crusader has a point that St. Brown shouldn't base the decision off of JT Daniels, but instead think about Wimbush/Jurkovec vs. Whoeveer USC will be starting for the next couple of years.

NDC vs. Dwshade = Wooly vs. Koon 2.0

LOL. What's funny about this is I'm by nature a very easy going fun loving guy. I sometimes get carried away on message boards for some reason. I never carry a grudge. What gets said one day I've forgotten about it the next day. Just love my ND football.

Back what up... a rumor? Why do I have to name the coach I heard it from?

Don't confuse a rumor on the street as an endorsement of fact, or a prediction. I'd bet he goes on the mission at this point also but him showing up at SC after they hadn't pushed for him due to his mission and how that relates to their future roster is interesting. That's why I passed it along. I can tell you Washington doesn't mind if he comes back in '20... not even if they were to get a transfer from the SEC. Oops, another nonsensical rumor, my bad.

BTW, everyone on the street I know in OC says ASB doesn't come to South Bend. Can I print that or do I need to cite sources?

I don't believe ASB comes to ND either. As to the other stuff....whatever. And yes it's common knowledge Eason may wind up at Washington. No surprise there with FRomm taking over and Fields coming in next year. Plus this isn't the staff that recruited him.
