Last season, Elko's starting SDE was Duke Ejiofor. Duke was a DE prospect from Texas, who was rated as the 61st WDE and 1360th overall prospect, in the 2013 class. Last year had 10.5 sacks and 17 TFL's, as a RS Junior. Some similarities there.

He has offers from UM and Texas too so he might not be affected by our shiny helmets.

UM was on him pretty early until they filled up. They liked him but couldn't get a commitment so moved on. A lot to work with here. I think that's going to be a common thing among a few of these Elko offers. He has no problem developing these players, in fact, his entire career is based on it.

IMO they should take 17 this class so 3 are still on roster in 2019.
