I thought they were done with LB's except for Phillips because he is a WDE to them.

I don't believe that is correct. I think the reports were that the staff was done at LB unless it was a top tier guy. And they can basically call anyone they want top tier in their eyes.

12 LB's on the '17 roster not including any hybrid or WR slides and you only lose Martini & Morgan next year.

Already have a pure LB and 2 OLB/DE's in '18 too.

How about some non-project, pass rushing DE's, a couple of fast, 4.5 star CB's and 2 non-project FS's instead. Hate to lose Pouncey to FS because they can't land a KJ Jarrell / Bubba Bolden type.
